Rather late to post as laptop playing up.Just want to wish Michael and all Gransnetter's a very 'Happy Christmas.' I hope you are enjoying your day. As I am here alone I will enjoy watching 'catch up' TV.

Yes Monk and GrandamaD my dad was born in Birmingham and I lived there till I was 11. I didn’t realise our Xmas breakfast was from where I came from 👍

NanKate my late father always had pork pie Christmas morning breakfast and now DH has carried the tradition forward we are west mids..

I wrote out a message earlier but the phone went and although I thought I clicked post before answering I obviously did not. Merry Christmas everyone, wishing you peace & happiness. We are having a scaled down Christmas Day, Mr T is unwell so our meal will be less & lighter than usual, no bad thing at our age.

Hello everyone from Brum, we are here with daughter, son in law and granddaughter for Christmas having driven up from Cornwall. Despite everyone saying they didn't know what to buy we have all been blessed with some lovely thoughtful presents. Looking forward to our Christmas lunch of turkey! Whatever your circumstances, I wish you all a peaceful day. Much love.

Grandmadinosaur -Pork pie was always my late Dad’s breakfast on Christmas morning and have carried on the tradition but he was Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😊

A very Merry Christmas to everyone from a grey and windy but not yet raining north Bristol. I suspect rain is heading our way very soon. Marmalade the cat has had a little fresh turkey breast mixed in with his breakfast and is now snuggled on my bed next to the radiator. My son and I will be whisked away by a taxi at 1pm to enjoy Christmas lunch at a restaurant near the Harbourside. It's just the two of us these days. I shall raise a glass of my favourite cocktail to all on here.

Happy Christmas everyone, from a grey but very mild SW London.
Too long and involved to go into (COVID related) but we’re back home when we should have been at dd1’s today, so a 120 mile round trip yesterday, dropped off all the food I’d prepped.

Never mind, counting blessings this morning, still relatively very lucky - we’ll get together soon. No Christmas dinner today, but we’ll have some of the gammon I’d already cooked. Plus we have fizz and orange juice for Buck’s Fizz, so cheers everybody! 🍾🥂🎄!

Just starting to prep and then present opening so we can thank people when the facetimes start. There are so many this year last year we were all together. All in our small corners of England today.
Safe journey to Maw and others travelling and Sago keep off the Guinness it's too nice in Ireland.

My FIL always had pork pie for his breakfast on Christmas day NanKate he was from the West Midlands is it local to that area?

Just DH and I today and tomorrow. I got our unusual Christmas Breakfast that my dear Dad always had. Pork pie with a cranberry topping, small red wine followed by toast and marmalade. DH cooking the lunch👍
