I think, as well as being a great actor, he always looked as if he could be your favourite brother.

So sad he was a great actor.
Must say he appeared to have lost lots of weight in the recent Full Monty series on Disney.

Very sad. Same age as me….
I loved him in “Priest”, a wonderful film that few people have seen. He acted with Robert Carlyle in that too.

I did like Tom Wilkinson and am sorry to hear about this.

It’s so sad. Yet another one to leave this stage for the big one in the sky. What is it with this time of year? I know people leave us at any time in the year, but the run up to Christmas seems to give us a surfeit.

Bluebelle He was the manager in The Full Monty. I didn't realise he was even as old as that. How time flies!

A great character actor, sad to read of his death not that old by today's standards.
