Good morning from a very icy down South.
DH did a big slide in the car on the ice yesterday. Thankfully everything ok.

Please all, be very careful.

The marmalade is being sold for church funds. Many moons ago, in Kent, I used to make over £2000 pa with sales for my church. I certainly shan’t do so here, but a few extra £££ never go amiss, do they?

Good morning, it’s a cold dry village in south Gloucestershire here, we had snow flurries last night when I took the dog out but nothing to be seen this morning, thankfully.
More art today 👏, it feels very indulgent but I don’t care and I’m enjoying it!
The dog walker comes today, the dog loves her!
Take care everyone and stay warm 🌹

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 0° and dry. No obvious signs of frost though. Pantsglas that's sad news indeed. GrandMattie what are your plans for the marmalade?
Yesterday was a good day. I dropped off dgs1 at nursery and he was very happy to see his friends again. Dgs2 and I didn't go out for a walk til later in the morning because of black ice everywhere. When we did, we met up with a neighbour who is lovely. Dgs2 was very affectionate yesterday and kept giving me big hugs. That was lovely too. I had an early bed after the early start.
Today will be much the same, just not as early. I'm doing a gammon joint in the slow cooker for dinner. Have a good day all

Good morning from Malta where it is 15°C and very damp.

I’m already at DD2’s, one twin is up and about, his brother still snoozing. They are very happy, easy babies. I’m lucky to be able to spend my days with them. I don’t have to as childcare in Malta is free of charge up to age 3 if both parents are working so I’m honoured!

Thanks for all your lovely comments on DD3’s flamingo cake. I shall pass on your compliments.

Pantglas so very sorry to hear of all your sorrows, also farview. Life can be very hard to bear at times.💐

Hope everyone gets through today as best you can.☀️

Good morning from a very cold NE.
Been awake since 3am and doing crosswords on my tablet.
DD returned to Brussels yesterday and was surprised to see snow in London when there was none in the very north.
Nothing happening today so will just do some tidying up and watch some TV.
Thoughts are with poorly people and their carers.

Good morning from a cold Bristol. There were flurries of snow last evening, but nothing on the ground this morning.
I made another 40 pots of marmalade yesterday while waiting for my delivery, which arrived in the late afternoon!
Great excitement on the estate. Two French ash trees which have grown far too big, were pollarded. It took the men less than an hour to decapitate the trees, shred and clear up! The inmates are delighted, especially the ones who lived in permanent shade due to them. I have a lot more light too.
Today, I have nothing planned except to finish a batch of marmalade. I may go into town to have my glasses straightened. Due to my corrections, they need to be exquisitely right, otherwise I get splitting headaches.
I saw than one of DH’s rugby heroes, JPR William, has died.😢
May today be kind to you all. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning Mick and all who follow from a dark and dry north Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 coast where Ive tossed and turned all night - most unlike me but I suspect it’s cos sad times are here at PG towers.

My oldest friend’s mother is being cremated today and I’ll pick up another friend to give some support to the family this morning. We also heard that our dear neighbour passed away after a long illness so cheerfully borne and that will mean another funeral in a fortnight’s time - she’d planned it all to a T! Very much a gal after my own ❤️

On a slightly lighter note, I found a dead mole in the garden yesterday so we had a little ceremony at the compost heap whilst I commended its soul!

Hope everyone has some 🌞 or some smiles (or both) today x

Good Morning Everyone,
A dark, dry start here in brackley but looks cloudy above .
Today , my usual routine of going to Bicester on the bus , despite cold air will just have a couple hours , originally was going to return via Buckingham but weather may dictate .
Take Care,
Mick
