Hi, I am constantly at odds with my daughter who is married with 6 children. They moved post-pandemic to be near us, which is lovely, but I feel burdened with responsibility and racked with guilt all the time. Our daughter is not working and suffers from anxiety related issues, although retraining at the moment for a new career. We helped her to buy their 1st house and their new house and help financially with sports and music lessons etc. We run the children around to school/clubs/ sports every week and help out in all the school holidays. We are retired and hoped to spend a lot of time travelling and having some well earned fun after stressful jobs. We have had some trips away and bought a motor home, but don’t get away as much as we’d like.. I became a Grandparent at 49 which I did not expect and the other Grandparents live thousands of miles away in another country. We have fallen out again as our daughter feels left out from a family party as she can’t attend because of children. I don’t know what to do anymore. We have another daughter and a son.
