Good morning, Mick and all. I spent so long catching up with all the posts and making notes to aid my memory that it is a lot later than when I started! Hope your blood test result is good, Mick.
I have been to the hairdresser for a cut, following on from a eyebrow and lip and chin wax on Tuesday so I am felling very ‘groomed’ - I had got lazy about the eyebrows etc having moved too far from the beautician I knew and trusted, plus Covid effect so it’s good have made the effort. Anyone like to do me a wardrobe refurb?!
Lots of book talk on here today. Urms, a trip to the bookshop with your friend sounds like a lovely idea - I hope she finds something good. Ladyleftfieldlover and JB2, a friend highly recommended that book so my book group is also reading it for next month 🙂
Kalu, I’m glad your missing cover hadn’t blown too far.
Maw, the snowdrops will be a lovely sight on your DH’s grave in the years to come.
PurplePixie, hope your recovery is speedy.
Gingster, sorry your DD had a bad time with the MRI.
Georgesgran, sympathy for your poor DD - a slipped disc is notoriously painful.
Susan, how lovely to have the Strictly show to look forward to, in the midst of all your family losses and illness.
Stilllearning hope you get ‘lit up’ again swiftly.
Bellasnana, what a worry your damp wall must be - hope it can be sorted easily.
Oops, disappointing that your oil tank needs replacing so soon compared with the old one.
Pittcity, everything I buy has to be stretchy 😬
I hope Grammarretto is having a lovely time in New Zealand.
Baggs, 💐
Happy Burns Night! I don’t think there is a haggis emoji!
