We have a dog, so I go out every day, which I always enjoy. I wrap up in cosy clothes, and the fleece lined leggings, bought recently, are a joy. A walk round the garden is a must, making mental notes of what is to be done in early Spring. Seeing the snowdrops and daffodils peeping through. Admiring the Hellebores, which put on a good show. Watching the garden birds on the feeders. Making hearty soups and meals to warm us through. Lighting the candles as soon as it begins to get dark. Knitting. Watching old programmes, like Escape to the Country, and drooling over some of the beautiful houses, also Gardeners’ World. Meeting up with my best friend for coffee and lunch and having a good chat. In between, I do the usual domestic tasks, but start to feel tired earlier in the Winter. Spring is my favourite season. Thank you for another positive thread, Fairycakes. 😊
