In the bin! 🤣

Are you going to tell us what it was Sago?

AskAlice Thu 25-Jan-24 19:09:00

It looks like some sort of chicken dish to me. I'd heat it thoroughly and then see how it smells/looks. If in doubt, don't! Cheese on toast would be my alternative, with brown sauce on top grin

Just enlarged the photo. Could it be fish ?

Pammie1 Thu 25-Jan-24 19:06:50

Another vote for something with chicken.

Looks like frozen beef.

mumofmadboys Thu 25-Jan-24 18:50:35

Just because it is unlabelled doesn't mean it's dubious!

Stuff like that I chuck. Or give to cats. Sorry.
Had bad food poisoning/bad water. I dont know what exactly, a bug brought back from a different country the doctor reckoned, several months ago.
All took 6 months to recover from.

I am much more wary now, of anything remotely dubious.

Sorry no idea from the photo.

I don't always label everything either and a few days ago we had a chilli pasta. Mr A put the chilli to defrost in the fridge thinking it was a pasta sauce. I'd already started the pasta cooking before I saw the kidney beans and realised what had happened 😀

Whatever it is, it doesn’t look very big. I’m inclined to agree with Rosies.

Patsy70 Thu 25-Jan-24 17:59:49

Maybe chicken?

Pantglas2 Thu 25-Jan-24 17:56:03

This made me smile Sago - I have done this, insisting that I don’t need to label things because I’ll remember….🥴

I usually wait til fully defrosted, taste, then serve with rice, pasta or salad!

RosiesMaw Thu 25-Jan-24 17:53:25

Apple crumble

Desdemona Thu 25-Jan-24 17:52:51

Chuck it all in a pan and saute it with a little oil, then make a big curry.

I'm not much of a cook!

Sago Thu 25-Jan-24 17:51:02

Oops forgot the photo

I am trying to get my main freezer down, usually I’m organised and everything is labelled.
However this unappetising looking bag is full of what will be our supper tomorrow evening.
I count see any carrots so it’s unlikely to be a chicken or pheasant casserole, there isn’t a curry odour and I can’t remember the last time I made a beef casserole.
Whatever it is it will be eaten.
