He always seems to look worried, or wary, ill at ease.
This pic was on the front of a Times magazine yesterday.
See what I mean? Not that I can blame him for looking worried if he thinks he’s going to be PM in the not too distant future - what a load to carry!
I dare say others will disagree, but he never seems (to me) to look wholly confident or comfortable, at ease with himself.

Huge hole Casdon - thank yiu 🐕

Welcome Galaxy
My heart is broken along with my shoulder. I’ve had to send my five stone immature three year old lab to board with my trainer friend. He adores her and in a sling and pain I can’t walk him. He’s in the right place for him but the house feels empty. That spaniel is enjoying being an only dog 🐶
I’m sorry to hear that Iam64, hope you recover quickly and can have him back with you, he must leave a big hole.

Which have affected every country in Europe. Can you tell us which other countries in Europe have worse public services now than the UK or than they did in 2010 Germanshepherdsmum? Do they have worse health services, worse crime rates, councils going bankrupt, increasing child poverty for example?
Well according what I read in the French News about shortages if medical personnel, and what I hear from my DB who has lived in Germany for years, there are two countries who think they have worse public services than in 2010.
I’m an evidence seeker. This is social care spending.

I was brought up never to make a promise I can’t keep, and that’s the way I have always lived. I hear Starmer promising things that people want to hear, but I wonder what costed promises in a manifesto will look like? Time will tell.
Were you indeed. I suspect the vast majority of people on GN were too.
On that premise you might like to consider Boris Johnson who was an ardent remainer but miraculously saw the light. The light being the chance of No. 10. Whether you agree with Brexit or not, he is known to have shamelessly lied and made not just false but fantastical promises.
Then there was Liz Truss who promised the earth but who nearly crashed the economy, wiping thousands off ordinary people's pensions within days of her tenure.
To say nothing of the numerous sexual assaults committed this year alone by Tory MP's.
What a pity these honourable politicians didn't have the same upbringing as you.
Hmmm... let's hope his anal glands behave themselves when he gets older, Galaxy.

Oh no! I'm sorry but you have done the right thing for you and for him.
I hope your shoulder mends well but it does take time.
To be fair Missadventure you are probably asking me at the wrong time. He has had a few days of 'stomach issues' as I am delicately putting it, but still looks cute curled up next to me.
I know Larry has seen a lot of different tenants of number 10, but that was all within the last 2 years, mostly.

Larry is getting on a bit ☹

I've been saying this since he first came on the scene. It's one of many things about him that irritate me
Perhaps you'd prefer the side splittingly funny Boris Johnson. What a wag eh!
What's so wonderful about this dog, then, madam?
I have always loved cats but I am afraid my dog has taken me over to the dark side and am a dog woman now.
I don't mind him.
He couldn't come anywhere near Boris, in terms of excruciatingly wrong for the role.
Ukraine is in Europe.
☹
I fully support him but I imagine when he is PM there will be times that I and many others get cross with him so yes he needs a dog.

I suspect he’s quite a serious individual. His formative years suggest stability and need for routine (mums health).
His choice of career suggests ethics. His early pro bono work had his chambers recommending he pick up some paid work or he’d never get a mortgage
Boris he definitely is not

He doesn't appear to like wearing a tie much in the photos on here!
True, but he combs his hair regularly, wears a suit that fits him properly, and looks like he’s had a wash, which is a good start.
Yes!
He could do with getting a dog for Number 10 though!
Yes, I agree - always good for anybody’s image, and will guarantee some unconditional love, which is always in very short supply for PMs.

🤣🤣🤣
He is just one of those people who doesn't smile a lot.
Let's be truthful - there isn't much to smilexabout if you're a politician.
Urmston - welcome to the gang of hopefuls. We need an honest loyal pm and starmer seems the best hope currently
