Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark and wet outside and could be cold as well here in brackley .
Yesterday I had probs with my BT/EE TV box could only get Freeview channels, but that was with the original box I have , I also got a updated one which I shall attempt to sett up later .
Otherwise usual morning trip to Bicester ,and then return home using the bus of course .
Take Care,
Mick

In that case Tofu presumably wouldn't take any notice of plastic picnic forks with prongs upright Wwm? 😄 They worked brilliantly to deter my neighbour's cat, but these were in small patio beds. Not the prettiest look, though!

Tofu migrated here from France with his owners - I think he must be of sterner stuff than our home grown pussies!

Good morning Mick and all from a brightening northwest 9° coast. I’m going to get moving today after a couple of unexplained days in the slough of despond, a couple of things making me feel flat.
Off to the local theatre for a play tonight so looking forward to that.
Thoughts to Ash, you have made me look at my left hand, which has painful swollen joints out of the blue 🙄 and the trigger finger/cramp is not pleasant, made worse by the cold.

I'm usually a 'lurker' but love reading your posts while I wake up.
I'm drawn to respond to WWM's and her DH's plight with Tofu. Our neighbours cat used our lawn as his toilet until I came across a Defenders Fox Deterrent at my local garden centre. Powered by battery, motion activated & connected to the garden hose. As soon as the cat appears in range it sends out a jet of water. It didn't take the cat long to learn to steer clear! On Amazon it is called The Big Cheese Jet Spray, the range & spray pattern are adjustable.
You do need to remember to turn it off when you go in range grin Great fun for the DGC on a hot day too!

I'm driving DH to a couple of local appointments this afternoon. He had a cataract operation last week and has been told to be lazy take it easy for 4 weeks.

Wishing everyone the best day possible.

Marydoll “Driving is becoming so difficult due to my pain levels and my consultant has been insisting on changing to an automatic for the last few years, so that I can maintain my independence.” I had to read this twice! Has your consultant been insisting ‘ for the last few years’ or are you changing to an automatic ‘ for the last few years? Stay positive - you’re so —bloody minded— strong willed , you’ll outlive us all! Much love A

Marydoll bloody minded was supposed to be scored through! You’re more adept at that than I!

Marydoll Thu 29-Feb-24 14:34:31

My dear friend, you know me well! I hope life is improving for you. X

Marydoll Thu 29-Feb-24 14:37:09

You’ll outlive us all!.
Gives me more time to repent.
Do I not remind you of my mother? She was even more bloody minded than I am! 🤣
