If a polar bear gets its fur wet swimming it rubs itself on snow and ice which helps to dry the fur. Snow and ice act like a towel.

Really, "un" usually denotes the opposite of something. I can't think of an example where it doesn't. I guess Susie knows what she's talking about.

Keeping these useless facts travel related... I'm planning a trip to Barcelona in September. Did you know that the design for the Eiffel Tower was submitted to Barcelona for the exposition in 1888. It was rejected as being too garish, and instead was re-pitched for the Paris 1889 World Fair and accepted.
