Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark and cloudy at the here in brackley at the moment.
Today a chance to catch the bus to Bicester ,and hopefully see many I know there .
Yesterday I was dealing EE/BT as to my Tv box , anyway it will be a case of await for a new one , so I can hopefully watch my cycling on tv, I am more inclined to follow the process in the instruction manual than make errors .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning all from the Black country where the sun is shining yet again.
After yesterday's perfect drying day I have a date with an iron, my least favourite thing.
I hope those with hospital or dental appointments things go well and all poorly family members carry on improving.
Safe travels those on the move and virtual hugs where needed.
Enjoy your day everyone whatever your plans and may you all find some ☀️

Good morning all from a sunny Suffolk where we had the most glorious sunset last night. The dog walk soon will be lovely with the sun making the frost sparkle( if it’s not melted by the time we get ourselves together).

Yesterday Bristol DD sent a video of 12 year old DGD’s school music dept’s visit to Wells where they sang at Evensong and performed a concert. They walked to Glastonbury Tor and the video showed nearly all the children wearing joggers.

For the first time I bought myself a couple of pairs in the Moshulu’s sale and I love them,so easy and comfy to wear. I’m wondering whether DGD’s response will be one of delight or horror if I tell her I’m wearing what appears to be the latest teenage ‘fashion’!

Morning all from a frosty West Oxfordshire.
Waitrose and Charity shop today. I’m also going to pop into the picture framers to see what they can do with my stained glass thing.
I need to think about baking for Easter and the forthcoming WI AGM. I haven’t even started my report yet.
Have a good day everyone, especially those of you with difficulties.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. It's Sunny and icy here.
My weekend away with the potters was very nice and sociable.
A deer has just left my garden. No wonder I have no flowers left.
A quiet day today.
Get well wishes to the poorly ones.
Ash, MD and the wee Batty boy.
Enjoy the house hunting Oops
Here's my hungry deer.

Good morning from a bright, sunny and frosty Suffolk coast.
It’s lovely to be back for some R and R. Just being here is a tonic.

We’ll potter around to see what needs doing and make a list for our boys when they come up for their ‘working weekend’ in a couple of weeks. They enjoy being together and they work hard and we love having them.

Ash hope you improve today. Take it easy .
GB hope the little chap feels a bit more comfortable.
Marydoll you’ll be a busy gran with eyes in the back of your head with little Babydoll.
Brook safe journey home.
Sar enjoy your last day with the family.
Love those ducks GM.

Take care all 🌷

Yes Liberty the sunset here in Suffolk was beautiful. I took a few snaps but it never does it justice.

Late for me from a wet but lovely breezy Cornwall. Was refreshed by my bus escape yesterday; I always get such a thrill as St Michael's Mount appears and for some reason it's exciting to see all the trains in the yard at the terminus. Came back via an M&S store and bought one of their family-sized trifles, of which I have just had some for breakfast!

I think my mojo must be returning as I have a desire to do a painting. Will think carefully on that though as it turns my small flat upside down and into a studio. Anyway, that aside I'm meeting a friend for coffee today. She gave a sermon in her church yesterday, at the request of the vicar, and will want to tell me how it went; she is shy and it was quite a thing for her to do.

Goodness, what a lot of activity before 8.00 am, and I thought I was fairly early. Sounds like a busy day for most posters and a dry one too - frosty here but sunny at the moment. Must walk up to the village,, and flower club demo this evening but otherwise a domestic potter.

Alygran Mon 04-Mar-24 08:23:12

Good morning from North Yorkshire. It’s very misty. I can only see as far as the garden fence.
Dentist this morning then meeting a friend at the garden centre for lunch. I really need to up my exercise so will try to get out for a walk later .
Have a good day everyone.

harrigran Mon 04-Mar-24 08:25:24

Good morning from the NE where we have a hard frost.
SIL updated one of the computers for me and also changed one of the LED lights in the kitchen. The light had been flickering for weeks and I am unable to stand on the ladders to change it.
Nothing planned for today, just general tidying round and then watch some TV.
Stay safe and warm.

Morning all, the sun is shining and the sky is blue here in my little corner of S E Essex.

I have slept late after taking a Nytol I was getting desperate for a full nights sleep. Will catch up with your news when I am back from the gym. 🙋‍♀️

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny Northampton, with frost sparkling on the grass and rooftops. Shall take advantage of the dry forecast and put some washing in. No yoga this morning (our teacher is on holiday in Iceland).
A chicken casserole to put in the slow cooker, hoping to make enough for 4 portions, one for this evening and 3 for the new freezer.

Had a lovely lunch out yesterday with the family for DS's birthday, and enjoyed a roast beef dinner. DGD(16) was.telling me about her proposed A level subjects for September, Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths - rather her than me!

Hope you had a lovely cruise, Pantglas, six weeks to go for mine on Adventure......

Hope.those feeling unwell take a turn for the better, and enjoy a.good Monday.

EkwaNimitee Mon 04-Mar-24 08:50:03

Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny Carlisle where we have had a light frost.
Yesterday was the same and I went out for an early walk in the park. The big pond was busy with ducks and other waterfowl. The adult swan pair were nowhere to be seen but were probably hidden away on their nesting spot on the little island. Wait till Daddy swan finds 3 of last year's brood still about! Last year he was ferociously chasing them off. This 3 were dozing peaceably in the sun right next to a path and didn't move though I hunkered down within a yard of them.

Today, a housework and laundry morning then, hopefully, out in the garden this afternoon.

Ash best wishes for a better day. Grandmabatty I hope the little one is not quite so sore today.

Have the best possible day everyone.

Good Morning, the sun is doing its best in spite of the heavy clouds !
We are off later to a National Trust property to see a newly renovated Victorian garden
Hoping the shop and tearoom are open !
Hoping for a decent day , health and worry alleviated for everyone 🕯️

Feelingmyage55 Mon 04-Mar-24 09:06:43

Good morning from a sparkling north of Scotland where it is still minus 2. I am waiting (im)patiently for the heating engineer. The heating went off at 5 pm on Friday!
In spite of the cold, the birds are singing and nest building and finally the snowdrops have appeared.
Wishing you all a good day.

Taichinan Mon 04-Mar-24 09:22:13

Good morning to you all from a sunny Angus coast. The blue skies are a surprise as the weather app says it's foggy! It's lovely to see that sun and blue skies prevail around the country today. Lovely photos of your sunset Gingster. We had one like that on Saturday night, but I'll have to wait until the sun sets further north before I can take pictures - at the moment trees are in the way.
I love your cushion covers grandmattie - they'll make delightful Easter gifts.
Hope you feel better today Ash - you'll be exhausted after all that running backwards and forwards!
Safe journey home today Brook - glad you had such a lovely time
And welcome home to Pantglas too. It's always lovely to be home isn't it.
I hope little DGS2 is feeling less sore today Grandmabatty. Like you say, it's a shame his mum or dad couldn't have had another day off work, but such is life. They're so lucky to have you to fall back on.
The attached photo is from DD and New Man's "walk" in the Lake District yesterday! Rather them than me - give me a cosy fireside any day. But they have bagged another three Wainwrights so are chuffed with themselves.
Today will be a morning of house pottering and then down town to meet a couple of fellow tai chi instructors for a cuppa and a chat this afternoon which will be pleasant.
Have a good day everyone and enjoy the ☀️- and Marydoll, enjoy little Babydoll!

Kalu Mon 04-Mar-24 09:35:40

Good morning from Glasgow. 2deg and a light frost but the sun is shining and it looks like we are in for another glorious sunny day = more time in the garden.

I spent so much time in the garden yesterday and enjoyed every minute of it. DD1 and the girls arrived at lunchtime and best of all, we coaxed DH into the garden for a few minutes of fresh air and sunshine then spent the rest of the afternoon just enjoying having them around.

Hoping your DGS heals quickly Grandmabatty not a pleasant ordeal for a wee one.
Hope you notice more improvement today Ash plain boiled white rice is good for stopping the trots.
Beautiful sunset Gingster nature at its best to lift the soul.
Good luck with today’s appointment Susan
Haste ye back Brook

My best wishes to all for a good/better day.
