Totally with you on that one Sparklefizz. She does have a terrific work ethic.
Maybe with time, and future success, she will feel the need to muscle in less and less with Harry's "projects". He, on the other hand, could do with reinventing himself, and shutting up about his mother ALL the time.

Apparently the late Queen disapproved of William and his family all travelling together by helicopter.

On the other hand does anyone remember the film Kind hearts and Coronets. Dennis Price disposed of 8 heirs then, but then condemned himself.

The thing is the Wales' don't have a website selling wares so that kind of knocks that on the head or should I say the crown!

On the subject of china, it should be noted that all the dishes on the Orchard whatever website are of the shallow nature, but nevertheless are really conducive to displaying some of the tasty recipes, which are best served cold, such as "Not Making Any Sense Word Salad" a perfect accompaniment to the yummy "Thick As Mince Meatloaf" or howzabout "Vengeful Venison" in a lets blow a Raspberry Jus. For pudding there's a range of Sue its!, or "The Chase Across New York Cheese Cake" which one pudding critic rather unkindly remarked "it has a deceptive quality about it" whatever could they mean? are they suggesting "The Chase Across New York Cheese Cake" is fake Finally winding the meal up with the cheese apparently The Blue With Rage Stilton is awfully nice.

There isn't anything on American Riviera Orchard just now TerriBull. Nor is it at all clear what it is going to be. Most favourite idea is it will be something like the Tig that M shut down just before she married H.

But I do wonder why do you feel the need to target a woman trying to earn a living? Is it because rich women frighten you? Perhaps you think women should know their place and making money isn't it.

I agree with your great-aunt! As I've got older I realise that if these things aren't used with my children they'll have no memory value to them when I'm gone, so likely would end up in the Charity shop.

The trouble is one of my DC says she wants all this.

It is also easier to parody someone who has opinions and states them rather than simply functions as a sort of appendage to an outdated anachronism.

ButI do wonder there has been a lot of condemnation of M&H as scroungers. M is obviously now going back to her former career which made her millions. Do people think she shouldn't? I'm not sure she will now have the influence she had when she was on Suits and ran The Tig, but I admire her for trying. And some of the women who followed her will now be mums as well so might come back.

We used to visit a great-aunt who had some lovely things. Her motto was "If you've got it, you should use it".

Absolutely nothing, it shows china of the finest quality. Perhaps Glorianny favours the thick British Rail type china of yesteryear.

I daren't use it although my mother used to serve afternoon tea in it in the 1930s when they were posted overseas 🙂
They must have carted it around with them to various postings! It's a wonder most of it survived.

Oh you should use it and enjoy it. I used to shy away from using the beautiful cut glass and china I inherited from my parents. Then I read some quotes from Erma Bombeck and this one was so apposite, it's one of many in response to being asked if she had her life again what would she change.....

I would have burnt the pink candle that was sculptured like a rose before it melted while being stored.

Surprisingly (fingers crossed!) I haven't broken any in use, but one piece had been broken while being "stored safely".

I have a lovely Christmas candle which a friend gave me many years ago, never lit it and it went a funny shape one very hot summer stored in the attic. I should light it in her memory 😥

When I read the bit on American Riviera Orchard on the BBC News site, I thought it was giving her what-three-words location.....

That made me smile Glorianny because Meghan complained about having to wear neutral colours in case she stole the limelight from other more senior members of RF!
