Good afternoon kitcheners. Brook that sounds cosy. It isn't raining here yet but rain is forecast. I'm thinking of NannyG4 and doodle too.
Today I had my haircut then came home and did lots of admin stuff, including applying for my state pension online. It was very straightforward. I e had a couple of phonecalls with mum's social worker and the guardianship process is moving on. Then I spent time in the garden weeding and pulling out dead bluebells. I'm having a sit down before I do an ironing and a quick hoover round. Sausages for dinner tonight. Enjoy your day Kitcheners

Good afternoon kitchen pals, it’s showery again here in Inverness so I’ve been in and out of the garden. I’ve given up for a bit now, made a tuna sandwich and am sitting in the warm conservatory listening to the rain on the roof. I’m expecting DD2 to bring the DGC round later, she seems to be visiting us a lot more often now she’s on her own

Good evening dear Kitcheners. It’s drizzled on and off today, I didn’t let it prevent me from going for a walk though. It felt really good to be out in the fresh air with the wind on my face. I watched a boat coming into the lock on the tide, then lifted into the boat yard by the big crane. I lead such an exciting life

Never mind sun brook, grey, cold and wet here, I’ve even got the heating on, I detest being cold.
A very quiet day, fuelled my car up and caught up on missed TV, quiz was busy last night, we came our usual fourth, an evening of fun though.

I can't thank you enough for all the love you have sent to me, it certainly does help.
Still at hospital, DH very sleepy... I really don't think it will be long......
My son and daughter are here with me... Just waiting... We've all had special times on our own and together with him........ A long night ahead and its been a hard day.

Good evening Kitcheners. Brook not so sunny and warm here in Polmont. Dgs2 was outside playing with sand and water this morning, then we went for a walk to see the men digging holes. I think he's sickening for something as he barely ate. And this boy can eat! Dgs1 went on a sponsored walk with his nursery this morning and had a good time. He was tired when I picked him up and lay on the couch after nursery. They were delivered home and I tidied up the house then had dinner. Mince round, mashed potatoes and baked beans. Thoroughly ordinary but easy and tasty. The dishes are done and I'm watching Richard Gere and Sean Connery in a film. What could be better? Enjoy your evening Kitcheners.

Hello kitchen people.
Such difficult times some are having, especially NannyG4. I hope the Soops are recovering, speedily.
A quiet morning here while the cleaner did her stuff. After she left I did my ironing and then repaired a fairly new cardigan. I heard from John Lewis that I’m having a refund on the slippers I bought just the other week. So, I’ve ordered another pair in a different style.
Spag Bol for dinner - I found some in the freezer which I’d made a while ago.
OH is going to his Shooting club tonight and I will be visiting friends. I think I mentioned that one of our group had a family tragedy at the weekend. I won’t give details as it has been in the papers.
Have a good rest of the day. For the moment I’m snuggled on the sofa with Milo, who is purring quite loudly!

Good afternoon kitchen pals, it’s been a sunny warm morning in Inverness and I enjoyed sitting outside for lunch. It’s clouded over now though but it’s still warm. All the washing has dried outside and the washer door is now firmly closed for today. Im making a lasagne soon as DD2 and the DGC are coming round to eat, it’ll be chaos as usual

The soops - I hope things are improving in your corner of the kitchen. You have certainly been knocked about recently.
It’s cold and rainy here in Suffolk. I’m going to put the heating on for an hour or two. And then I may finish the ironing.
