Good evening dear Kitcheners, a quick visit to send you all best wishes. Live has been a bit frantic over the last few days.
Also wanted to let Doodle know she is in my thoughts on this very difficult day

Evening all to quote “Urms” , your little miss sounds a sweetheart.
We’ve had an up and down sort of day which seem to be the norm for us at the moment. One big perk is that I’ve had my hair cut , it feels so much better and is very good for my morale. Always a good cut but almost more important, the owners are such a lovely couple and always positive and cheerful. We couldn’t stop laughing when I was trying to teach them the word persevere (in relation to a long marriage!) A shock for one of them as she realised that she had been born the year that we married.
Loving thoughts for Doodle ,*NannyG*,and Baggs.
And thinking positive thoughts for Neine and Mr soop both of who seem to cope with life’s adversities as positively as possible.
Ladyleftfieldlover, I love the picture of your husband’s honey. It looks delicious and I’m sure will taste marvellous.
Are you near enough to the hives to notice more bees in your own area? We don’t have any hives near us now but can still buy homegrown honey at the local market.
By the way, we still have little dog, not willingly but trying to be positive about it. We’re slowly learning to understand each other. His temperament is completely different to any other dog I’ve ever had, but then he’s had a completely different upbringing. When i say we still “have” him, it’s more in the sense that soop has “ sweetie pie”. Maybe we’re just here to feed him and try to keep him out of trouble.
OH keeps his bees on a friend’s farm three or four miles away. There do seem to be more bees around this year. By the way, the honey is delicious!
I hope all is well with those GNs having a difficult time, especially Doodle.

A good morning to you all.
Thinking of those with a heavy heart today. Embrace small pleasures.....
I'm staying between my son and daughter whilst DH in hospice. They live near the sea so have been having lots of walks on tbe beach, so calming.
Wishing you all a peaceful day.

Also good night to all in Soops kitchen.
Hope Brook2704 GD gets better soon.

I hope all goes well tomorrow, Doodle.🌹🪻🌷
Thank you for the pictures Scapal what a lovely gift you received, I hope you enjoyed your day
I’ve been looking after DGD since early afternoon, she can’t seem to shake off a nasty cough and temperature so DD2 took her to the doctors, she’s had an thorough once over and she’s now got antibiotics. Poor thing hasn’t eaten much for over a week, she’s just not interested in food all she wants to do is sleep. Hopefully she’ll be feeling much better soon
Sounds like a lovely day Urms
Shame about the garden Jax but hopefully you enjoyed the rest of the day and hope you won at Scrabble 😀
Thinking of you tomorrow Doodle ❤️
Reasonable day here in Dunblane today but certainly not a warm one. Sorry to hear of all the trials and tribulations some of those on here are going through. Enjoying hearing of all the holiday adventures though we need to plan something else. Had a very nice lunch at Cromlix ( Andy Murray’s hotel) the food was well cooked but may not be to everyone’s taste but I will eat or try almost anything. Nothing plain to say the least. Choice of 3starters 3mains, 3 desserts. We were given it as a gift which was lovely. The photos shows a selection of what we had, wild pigeon parfait, pork cheek and pork fillet with puy lentils, mackerel with foraged nettle purée. No sign of Andy Murray though!
Well done llfl very professional looking.
We went to a disappointing garden attached to a Jacobean house today, it was a bit of a shambles tbh, never mind.
Late afternoon we set off to visit our friends in their camper, plonked in a farmers field down tiny country lanes. A BBQ was enjoyed and a game of Scrabble followed before I got too cold to sit out, so we headed back.
My thoughts will be with doodle tomorrow ❤️.
Faringdon is the name of a nearby town where OH keeps his bees. You shouldn’t be able read anything else - I checked!
Is that your surname on the labels? You may want to delete the photo LLFL if so.
