Bargain. No more flat packs.

What a good site. Prices are good, too. I sent away for a bathroom cabinet last year that was described as ready assembled but it was flat pack and weighed a ton. Thankfully Victorian Plumbing arranged for me to return it and reimbursed me. There was no way I could have assembled it and fitted it myself.

Hallowood has a very narrow bedside cabinet I notice... I'd given up on finding one of those in oak. Have spent hours on the 'net and in local stores with a tapemeasure.

Last week a bought a flat pack painted one which is in use now so can't go back!

In another one who relied on Wilco for gardening stuff. I bought a shoe storage thing you could also sit on from Dunelm, £79 a bargain and it looks smart near the back door.

I have been lead to believe Wilco is being resurrected

For some years I lived near a very large Wilko which was on two floors and like a department store. I absolutely loved it, you could buy anything there. And I did........ 😥

Loved Wilco especially the gardening section really miss it

Me too - it was always a wander around Wilko on a Monday after a nearby coffee with friends. I always seemed to end up buying something though!

We have two large wicker baskets under the hall table. All shoes get thrown in there.

I’ve got the Wilko ottoman, in brown, at the end of the bed in a spare bedroom - I keep my winter curtains and cushion covers in it - it’s very handy.
DD1 had some fabulous shoe and boot storage built into the void under her stairs (at considerable cost, by a local joiner) but it keeps everything out of sight.

Shoe storage is essential isn't it? I bought an ottoman because you can sit on it whilst changing your shoes. Only downside is that the shoes are all stored together, so probably not suitable for children who won't keep them tidy. I'd say really dirty shoes should be placed somewhere else to dry before knocking the dirt off. There is a divider in the middle. I find it brilliant. Mine was bought at Wilko but this is the same, comes in different sizes and colours.
