Can YOU see ‘a face’?

No disrespect to Urmston's pyjamas, but it was a troll-like face that I saw.
It looked up to no good.

I saw it immediately. I can see faces everywhere. I used to be fascinated by all the faces, and the reclining lion in the brickwork of our outside toilet when I was a child.
This photo is of the gorge near my home. I see Native Americans in the rocks.

I see a face and a skull at the right hand side of it.

I think I used to see faces as a child.
I can certainly remember my long suffering mum wafting the curtains, moving the dressing gowns to prove there were no monsters lurking.

We are hard wired to recognise the human face when given random patterns. It is down to evolution as social beings, but also to warn us of danger.

Makes me think of the film Castway- if you don't have a real face to see we will invent them. It's all perfectly normal.

Yes, I agree with you on seeing faces "Urmstongran". Here, I can see three faces, a little dog or a little chimpanzee at the top,
the face of a man hiding, and is that a laughing cow? Amazing. I often see faces in tree trunks, clouds in the sky & everyday mundane things around me. Some friends think I am quite dotty!!

I can see a face in these pyjamas! Or a wrinkly little dog! I often see faces in strange places that make me chuckle. I love looking at clouds for the same reason; lots of interesting faces and figures there!

Yes I can see him! A happy little laughing chap!
I think we are programmed from babyhood to look for and respond to the human face.

I remember reading once about how tiny babies, just able to focus were shown some cards, some with bright colours on them and some with a very simple drawing of a human face.
It was found that the babies spent longer looking at the face than the cards with the colours.

I see faces when shut my eyes

I couldn’t see anything earlier but can see a face now.
It’s a bit like those posters you could buy years ago. Ours was an eagle.
