I was looking for a picture I took of Co-op Baking Potatoes, which were labelled, ‘ Ideal For Baking’.

No luck, but I did find this one.

I always see " Shoplifters at work" instead of "Shopfitters"

"Customers are reminded to always hold the handrail and take care on the stairs" repetitive voice-over in a railway station.

Because no-one has ever used stairs before, obviously 🙄

As a child I often noticed a sign saying 'LAYBY TOILETS'. I could never understand how you could use them lying down!

'Free House' on a pub, mystified me as a child.

I saw this on another site.

We are faced with warnings everywhere. I have been in public toilets where we are warned of Hot Water coming out of the taps.

I like ‘ Plants crossing’. I never knew until I was in my teens that it referred to heavy machinery.. I had visions of triffids.

On Peanut brittle
