Good morning from Malta where it is sunny and due to reach 27°C.

I’m with the boys, thankfully no upset when DD3 left this morning. They are both fed, dressed and happy.

I’m glad to be with them as I do miss them over the weekend even though I had plenty to keep me busy.

No Bank Holiday here as we had our day off on Wednesday which was a rather pleasant mid week break.

Wishing you all a good day.☀️

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s been raining and it looks quite cloudy today
Thats a lot of sewing gMattie well done, I’m sure the tutus look gorgeous
Hope the journey isn’t too disruptive for your DH Ash
Nothing much planned for today I’ve got lots of housework to keep me busy and hopefully I’ll get out into the garden
Lovely photo of your DGD mizuna!
Thinking of everyone with struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐

Good morning Michael and all GNs from a sunny but chilly South Yorkshire. The curry went down very well yesterday and the family were on good form. I managed to get out into the garden briefly before they came, to do odd jobs, but hopefully today I will have a longer stint before the forecast rain comes in this afternoon. I must also find time to phone an old friend.
Have the best day you can, folks.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Rain in the night and dreich today.
Yesterday was lovely. 3 old friends appeared at the Quaker meeting to enrich our sleepy gathering.

I set out to plant my veg patch but realised weeding was needed first. The potatoes and peas are coming through.

I had to leave the film at the interval as my cough was annoying me and everyone else. It was a sad watch. The Father
I have another cold and will nurse it today.
Beautiful photo Mizuna
Have a lovely Bank Holiday whatever you are up to.

Good morning from soggy South Lanarkshire.

We had a lovely, relaxed time with DGD2 over the weekend and spent an hour chatting with DD when we delivered her home yesterday afternoon.

I’m in the charity shop today, Mondays come around so quickly.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning from Durham. Rain expected later.
Full on day with DD2 yesterday, there’s still tidying up to finish, but plenty of leftovers, so no
need to cook today.
Might wander around a garden centre later, but no real plans,
Best wishes to all. X

Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, where thunderstorms are forecast. However, DH has insisted on squeezing in a few hours of golf before it begins. Men!

Yesterday turned out to be really busy. Poor Dollie was exhausted after her late night at DD's and spent the whole of Mass snuggled into me. 😍
In the afternoon, my friend from across the road appeared with a birthday gift for DD. As a classmate of Dollie, her DGD is also making her First Communion, so we had lots to chat about.
Just as she was leaving, my fellow sacristan phoned to plan what is going to be a busy week, we just didn't have time in the morning.
I then had to deal with a soutane covered in candle wax. It is a horrible job, trying to get wax out of polyester.
By the time I finished, it was dinner time!
How I long for a quiet, restful afternoon.

Mass this morning, working on a blocked drain ( I wish I could find who is responsible) then home to make the seating labels for Saturday.
I have decided to make beef cobbler, a favourite meal of ours.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all from a bright North Leicestershire.

Our choir is singing at a nearby care home this morning and a Duck Race this afternoon. So that's today sorted.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning all it’s pouring with rain outside today but I’m just going to have a lazy day in I’m too exhausted to be going out after my train journey to Aberdeen followed by my second train journey to Edinburgh.
I’ve had lots and lots of fun with family and friends
I’ll be going out to do a small shop tomorrow therefore I hope to make the most of my rest day in today.
Have a good day everyone blessings to you all.

Morning all from West Oxfordshire.
Usual Monday I think. Laundry, shopping and housework. We may pop over to our nearest NT place if it’s not raining.

Have a good day.

Good morning from Cornwall where it's due to be sunny today. I flopped around yesterday after my birthday present dressing gown was delivered. Totally addictive, so soft, I didn't want to take it off and mustn't put it on until after my work's done today. I'm decorating our shared stairwell.

The photo of my grandson was taken by my son on a north Cornwall beach yesterday. Isn't the sky beautiful!?

instigalled? I’ve invented a new word! It should say installed!!

Good morning from a promising looking start to the day here in Torbay.

Yesterday we enjoyed another visit from a retired cleric from Exeter for our morning services which will be the routine while we go through the interregnum. Later, I went shopping in a large out of town Boots where it is easy to lose an hour just looking for things in unfamiliar places!

DH is due tonight although he expects delays in Paris as the security measures relating to Brexit are being instigalled whilst in this country a day of working to rule leading to strikes on the railways later this week will add further joy to his trip!

A labour of love, grandMattie! 🩰
I hope a restful day proves restorative for you Whitewavemark2.

Wishing everyone a good week. 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩

I woke up far too early then decided to go outside to listen to the dawn chorus. It was rather lovely.

Morning Mick and all, dry here, but it has rained and more is due. Clothes sorting and potting on are today’s plans. The snooker may also get a look in, my son and his partner are calling in at some point.
You have so much patience gMattie.

Good morning from a foggy hillside in south Glos.
A lovely day yesterday with DD here, we pottered in the garden for a bit until it started raining again, cooked a roast dinner and generally had a quiet day. She and DH took the dogs out for a long walk and I started the border on my crochet blanket which I’m pleased with.
Today DD is off home, I will have a tidy up and probably take the dog out for a wander somewhere.
Cold gammon and bits for dinner, I think there’s some lemon cheesecake left too.
Enjoy the Bank Holiday everyone 🌹

Whitewavemark2 Mon 06-May-24 06:07:42

Good morning from a very wet South Downs which is due to last all day.

So I shall housework today, then I’m free for the rest of the week which is forecast to get sunnier and warmer.

Didn’t achieve much yesterday, as feeling a tad jaded - so rested to get my mojo back again.

Enjoy your day all

Peace and harmony

Good morning from a grey, drab Bristol. We are promised warmer weather today, though it’ll be showery. 🤨
I had a quiet but productive day yesterday. These tutus are being decorated according to designs by celebs. Mine is Angela Rippon and consists of pink hearts around the edge and sequins from the waist to halfway down. I cutotsome50+ pink fabric hearts and sewed them on. It took me most of the afternoon…
Nothing happening today, but I’m used to that. DH never went out on a Bank Holiday ”due to traffic”, so we always stayed in!
May today ring warmth into your lives. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
