Managed to fracture my left wrist on Saturday by tripping in the kitchen. Floor wasn't wet, don't really know how it happened. Anyway, am sitting here catching up with reading, GN, etc but decided I can't sit on my all day so thinking of ways to improvise normal jobs. Managed to bring basket of washing downstairs by coming down one step at a time on my bottom and bumping washing basket behind me. That worked, and cycle is nearly done. Will probably be able to drape items over airer to dry.
Also managed to sweep kitchen floor reasonably well and get crumbs into dustpan. Did a semi-ok job of a quick clean with the one-handed squirty mop. That's enough for now, but any other tips would be welcome. OH left me a sandwich for lunch before we had to go out, so I won't starve!
AIBU to wish toilet cubicles were a decent size.
