Very ugly feet. I'd be inclined to cover them up a bit more. 😺

Prince Harry will not meet the King during UK visit.
(661 Posts)Seems a bit harsh? All that way too. He landed in the UK a few hours ago. Without Meghan and the children.
From the Telegraph just now:
“ The Duke of Sussex will not meet the King this week, the Telegraph can reveal.
Prince Harry, 39, landed in London on Tuesday morning and had made no secret of his hopes to see his father during his visit.
But a spokesperson for the Duke said: “In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not The Duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme.
“The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
I just think if the King doesn't ’find time’ to see his son then Harry might well just think ‘sod it’ next time/if he comes over.
I know Harry bad mouthed the family in his book ‘Spare’ but still …
What do you think?
Clothes, Glorianny?
Do you have an opinion on this dress? I think it was nearly £3k. (Can't remember the designer).
Seconds before that photograph they were meeting people,
a young girl approached them with a tray, Megan spotted a camera and pulled Harry away to stand for the photograph, so
rude
It seems that for the British Royals, blood is not thicker than water. You do not 'find' time to meet someone, you 'make' it. So even if it's just a light lunch, or a video call, that would count as a meeting... but of course, as we say in Malta, only the people who put stuff in the pot know what there is in the pot...

Even if you didn't forgive him. If you had so many residences and rooms you couldn't count them you'd offer to put him up wouldn't you?
Well, I wouldn't although some might.
I think I might.
The thing is, that if Harry were to rock up one day with my darling grandchildren, (I'm Charles now by the way), I would most certainly put the family up. So I'd go for the charitable option and do so for Harry on his own.

For the first time ever, I’m feeling a bit sorry for them!
They have so little loving family in their lives (each other, two children and her mother) and yes I know that’s their choice after all the misery they felt couldn’t be endured any longer in UK.
I don’t begrudge them brief moments of being treated like royalty whenever they turn up to the odd event or trip abroad- it obviously means a lot to them or they wouldn’t do it.
They seem to want a part time, pick and choose celebrity life which really isn’t suited to our daily dutiful (and sometimes dull) monarchy.
In famous footballing terms, can they do it on a wet and wintry Wednesday night in Stoke… nope, they’re more Messi than Ronaldo!
Shades of the Duke and Duchess Of Windsor who had to ‘make do’ with faux regal trips and similar occasions to still seem relevant.
There have been comments about how much happier Harry looked when he was in London.
Maybe because he was flying solo, and was more ‘himself’, without constant hand holding and back rubbing helping him on his way.

Seventeen pages! Only GN could get its knickers in such a twist over a meeting which could/could not have, should/should not have (delete as appropriate
) taken place. We should really offer popcorn for any threads about the royal family, as the H&M haters start foaming at the mouth!
If you change to 100 posts per page it doesn't look as bad, MissInterpreted
Only five pages so far.
Five to go! 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

I'm with you on that one Glorianny, and said so 14 pages ago!
There’s the Tower of London for starters! No problem with security there
I understand parts of it are extremely comfortable.
Cental location and the security at night is second-to-none, including arrow slits for windows in order to watch out for approaching enemies.!

Allegedly KC won’t trust him because last time he saw him , he hot footed it back to USA and straight into a television show . Now he is swanning around in Nigeria with MM on a quasi royal tour - strange for a couple who want to be “private”

Here's some I made earlier.

But I'm not related to him.
Except through Anne Boleyn.

That was in response to Glorianny
I read it was the third pen.
Am I wrong?

It’s true there was no offer of a place to say ?
We don't know.
He might have offered him a bed for the night, so to speak, but I doubt Harry would have much trouble in finding accommodation, if needed, anyway.
It's not entirely impossible that father and son have communicated by 'phone and that we've just not been made privy to that information.
Who knows?

Harsh? You’ve got to be joking.
I think trashing your family, the armed services, and country so publicly with tsunamis of made up crap is quite the definition of harsh.
Calling everyone in the UK racist, and making up stories about the Army, and the Archbishop of Canterbury marrying them illegally in a garden is beyond harsh.
He’s actually a liability now which is why the British government had to issue a statement that he’s no longer representing them in any capacity and any visit he makes to any country are private junkets. He’s no longer an HRH.
Harry has cut himself off from his family and country with his toxic lies.
He’s got no one to blame but himself now he’s an outcast who noone wants to meet.
Shit stinks, even a small amount.
I’d say his days in Invictus are numbered- people are leaving in droves - funders are ‘unimpressed’ with him and Herself.
He’s a grown man steeped in bitterness, grifting on his dead Mummy, enriching himself with faux Tours for Netflix.
