Like most of us ,this month is the first month when we see the full amount of the rise in our pensions, both state and work etc.
I have been balancing the amount with the rises In Utilities, council tax, water and sky.
It leaves very little over and I am aware that for some it will leave none at all.
Then I read a news item about a British billionaire, Nick Candy, bemoaning the fact that the service charge on his London apartment is … £3000.. a week.
Also that he doesn’t even live in it, he lives in a £75million mansion somewhere in the country.
The apartment is for sale for many many millions, I can’t recall exactly how many.
I just can’t comprehend it, but a wry laugh is all I could conjure up.

Personally, and this won’t surprise some, I think it’s utterly immoral! No one needs that amount of money!

They really do live in a different world, don't they? So ignorant that they can utter a statement like that.

Later he "admits he was being facetious".

Well thats OK then.

My opinion is that he is ripe for being a candidate in paying more taxes.
