As a child of 8 months can barely sit upright unaided I find this hard to believe.

No - one of ours walked at 9 months but to sit still long enough sounds a bit unusual though possible if firmly strapped in. Irresponsible parents,though. Report them to child protection if it happens again.

Well, there is no accounting for the depth of some peoples stupidity

I have seen toddlers in such cars in a park and I feel sorry for them as, although it seems fun it isn’t doing much for their health. It is also the case when some children are kept in a pushchair watching others play. (Of course I am not talking about disabled children.)

Some babies are pretty agile at 8 months (one of mine was walking) - but it still sounds unsafe - and no.. I've never seen it.

BTW at 8 months she was definitely agile but not as "sensible" a walker even as her siblings.

What on earth were the parents thinking of - Ridiculous!!

I didn't walk until I was 23 months old! I don't think their child can walk, but he can sit up.

Babies can sit up from 6 months.

It sounds a crazy thing for parents to do.They don’t have XL Bully as well do they?

Mine were walking at 8 months , 10 months and a year and funnily both the early walkers are great athletes the 12/nearly13 month old not so much likes walking and swimming but not actual athletic stuff ….but
I can t imagine an 8 month old being strong enough for this for long and NO I ve never seen it happen

They sell these cars on Amazon, states not suitable for children under 3. A toy for the parent than the baby. Brain dead.
