So cold!!

Ok here near Bath. Could be warmer but ideal temperature for digging the garden and no rain!

Blooming cold in "leafy Buckinghamshire" - today's been grey and overcast, very windy and yet again we've had the heating on because DH feels the chill. Both wearing jeans and jumpers and socks, trying to decide what to put on has been a bit like wardrobe Hokey Cokey - in, out, in out and shaking it all about.

However, we are promised a lovely day tomorrow and an even better one on Sunday ... not holding my breath though.

Electric blanket is on ready for bed, it’s been distinctly chilly down south, the wind hasn’t helped.

It's been a lovely day here in Northumberland but the wind is cold. I'm still wearing my winter jumpers and when sitting with my crochet and watching the TV I have a blanket over my knees.

It's been raining here in central france for 6 weeks now and this week it's cold as well. Tonight I could smell someone's wood burner in the air.

Lovely today in Bath and now back in South Devon 🌞. Should be better for us all soon 🤞

The wind here on the S E has been relentless, I am on the sofa snuggled under a throw.

Tomorrow summer begins????

Not only cold and damp but the water butts are well filled up….. upside my garden is well watered…. Downside my bones definitely unhappy

It's been very pleasant here in Scotland today. Haven't had any kind of heating on for weeks, nor would I dream of putting it on at this time of year, no matter what the temperature was.

We’ve had some sunny hours during the days her in East Devon, but then the temperature drops and it’s ridiculously cold in the evenings. This week we’ve either had the heating on or the wood burner lit every night. Right now I’m sitting wearing my big fleece ‘cover up’ AND a blanket over me.

I'm sick of the weather, here on the South Coast the Temperature is warmish but we have wind, it's so windy, the wind chill is keeping it it all cooler.
If we didn't have the wind factor it would be OK, not boiling, but around 20°C.

It's been better here today in Bristol. That infernal wind has subsided and for couple of hours it was warm and sunny but still not exactly summer dress weather. I'm so fed up of wearing trousers and jumpers.

Same here on the south coast. I foolishly packed away my electric blanket a couple of weeks ago so I’ve had to make do with a hottie.

This cold wind is really getting on my nerves.

Very cold in outer London, windy, and plants blown over this morning. I have had the heating on intermittently, and ak dressed in jeans and a long sleeved top.
I was in a supermarket yesterday and the assistant said to me she felt like we had four seasons in one day.

Lovely here in Dorset, despite some dark clouds at times it has been dry and fairly warm. Nice breeze so the washing dried.
I have windows (living room one is open now and has been all day) and back door open most days if it's not raining, certainly not cold enough for any heat - not had any since early March.

Very cold and wet in Kent. The heating is back on, it’s really cold and tomorrow is 1 st June.

Very cold here in South Lincolnshire. I am sitting with a hot water bottle at my back. We have had so little sun, too, which adds insult to injury - endless grey skies. However, it is not raining today, so I suppose we should be thankful for small mercies.

Went out today in a dress and my sunhat. Bit chilly so I put on a shortsleeved cardigan as well. It soon warmed up so I came home carrying both jacket and cardie.
I’m glad I had the hat.
The washing is drying and we’re sitting with patio doors open enjoying the birdsong.

No asparagus at the farm shop today. It is so cold, it has stopped growing!

Electric blanket on again last night

I thought I wouldn't be using the heating so I moved my settee in front of the radiator. It's under the window so the light is better for my sewing.
Now I wish I had waited until the weather stabilised.
