I very rarely post anywhere, but read Soops and Mick’s GM thread regularly. I didn’t see Urms post either, but am astounded at what has transpired.
Dont leave Urms never in a million years would you or anyone in this safe haven post anything to deliberately upset others. flowers for Yia and Urms

Urms I didn’t see your post either but as others have said you have always been kind and supportive. Please don’t leave the kitchen. It might not have been a Kitchener who reported your post. Don’t forget others read threads too and often feel the need to create havoc. Please stay. You’re a good friend and we need you. You have been kindness itself to me and I know your post to Yiayia would have been in the same vein.

I've just been in the kitchen and hadn't read any of the messages from last night so I don't know what has been happening. Yiayia I'm sad that people have upset you. Dyslexia is nothing to be ashamed of and it says more about their ignorance than you. Urmston that is sad too. Please don't leave the kitchen.

“What a to do”
I can’t believe that the controversy that besets some threads has reached our lovely, friendly kitchen.
There are some very mixed up people in this world.
We. must rise above it and do what we do best, continue to be a loving family who support each other through the best and the worst of times.

kittylester Sun 16-Jun-24 07:24:39

Yia, I hope you have recovered from the comments on the other thread. And that your husband has answers soon.

Urms, I read your post as offering kind and gentle advice. Don't dare leave the kitchen. wink

Yia so sorry to hear about your DH. Hopefully you will find out the cause of his problems soon. Don’t even think of leaving GN. There are more important things in the world than being able to spell or having a good grasp of grammar. Caring, consideration, support and kindness to name just a few, all of which you’ll find in the kitchen.
Dear Aga I remember our days in the Argy with great affection (surprising really after all the poteen consumed 😮)
Thanks for the hug Soop. Most welcome.
Have a good weekend all. Father’s Day tomorrow. It will be hard for our sons and me as it would be DHs birthday this coming week too.
