Dull & damp here in Sefton. A rather depressing start to what is/was/maybe a hopefully sunny weekend. Yesterday's lovely morning soon fizzled out.... although I did manage to get 2 loads of washing dry. DH started to give the garage a sort out but ran out of impetus & took the dog for a walk instead as it had become a lot cooler. Our elderly greyhound cannot cope with any kind of heat. Apart from collecting a prescription & a small food shop we have no plans for today until this evening when we are off to a neighbour's 70th birthday bash. The venue is walkable which is handy. Although there is that pile of ironing.....
Wishing you all a pleasant weekend.

Morning all from a possibly damp West Oxfordshire.

After a lovely day at the V&A yesterday looking at Romanesque items, I am off to London again this morning. I am meeting younger son for lunch and then we’re going to the King’s Gallery to see the Photograph exhibition there.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all from a slightly overcast North Leicestershire.

A cooking day today as DD1 and family are coming for lunch tomorrow.

Enjoy Tidsa Gm. We love it and used to have a holiday home there.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning everyone from Inverness, looks like there’s been a bit of overnight rain but it’s dry now
Sorry to hear you’ve been unwell mick, hope things improve again soon
We’ve nothing planned this weekend, just as well as DH isn’t feeling 100% - it’s just a fly type virus I think. Im hoping to get outside in the garden, it’s been a busy week so there’s lots to catch up on. I’ll also need to do a food shop as DD2 and family will turn up sometime over the weekend
Tideswell sounds good gMattie 👍
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐

Good morning from a hillside in south Glos where it’s bright but cloudy.
A lot of faffing and pootling went on yesterday for me, a bitty day.
Probably more of the same today as nothing exciting planned or likely to happen here!
Enjoy your weekend 🌹

Good morning from a sunny Bristol.

I’ve been awake since about 0245 and managed to doze off about 40 minutes ago.

Yesterday went well. It was a shame that we didn’t have a little fiesta at Spanish, but different place different customs.

In the afternoon, I visited my upstairs neighbour to apologise that yet again I wouldn’t be going to a concert next week in which another neighbour is singing. My ticke5 has been given to yet another resident..

Today, I have the usual church coffee and chat. In the afternoon, I shall probably bake a few biscuits to take with us; DS has booked something at Tideswell, nice and central.

I hope today/weekend is kind to you all. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from a very hot Malta.

Sorry to hear you’ve had a set-back with your health Mick. Hope things settle down for you.

Usual day of catching up on jobs around the house before watching the tennis and then going over to babysit the boys while their parents are at another wedding.

The Church service doesn’t start until 7.30 pm so it looks as though I will be in for a long night! I have never heard of one starting so late even though evening weddings are quite usual here due to the heat.

Wishing all of you the best day possible.☀️

Good morning from a drizzly Sarthe after a couple of fine days.

It was heartening news about your DD yesterday, Gingster and I hope the other tests go well.
I do hope MissOops will pick up soon. It must be very wearing for her and for you, Oopsadaisy1.
Belated birthday greetings to Sar.

Happy weekend, everyone! 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Good morning, Michael and all GNs from a cloudy South Yorkshire. Hope you feel better soon Mick. It will be cooler today. Yesterday was very hot. I walked to school and back in the afternoon, went to the supermarket and by teatime I was exhausted. Today I will wash the downstairs floors, cook two curries for tomorrow and do a bit of gardening. I might make a batch of brownies if time allows.
Have the best day you can folks.

Good morning all from a dry and brightening north Wales coast where I’m about to enjoy my Yorkshire brew in the ☕️ ginormous chamberpot😂 before trotting along for a newspaper. Sorry to read you’re not 100% Mick.

Belated birthday greetings to Sar 🥂 and anyone else I may have missed and Bon voyage to Pittcity on her fjords cruise - that’s my treat next year so look forward to hearing all about it!

Out for a drive with a friend this afternoon (cake 🧁may meet up with us too😉) then more football ⚽️ this evening- Mr PG watches all 3 per day but I have a select few teams!

Have a lovely weekend everyone x
