All my children and grandchildren had been away on holidays with friends by age 17 /18 and yes me too
yes you do worry so much but you have to let them fly

I truly think he set off on a unforgiving and unattainable 10 hour walk to get back to base and just like Michael Mosley he completely misjudged the heat, the energy needed, the clothes and the distance

The parents must be frantic with worry, especially after the death of Michael Mosley. Unfortunately we cannot wrap either our children or grandchildren in cotton wool.

I hope he is found safe and well.

There has been a lot of background information on MN, about a court case when a 17 year old teen was chased by a terrifying mob of thugs, a machete was used to split victim`s skull, smirking in court and also just giving etc.

It’s every parents worst nightmare isn’t it? Our teens get to the stage of wanting to go away on holiday with a group of friends, and most of the time of course everything is fine and they have a great time.

This lad’s parents though must be suffering agonies. I do hope he’s soon found safe and well.
