Every one is one of a kind. Cannot understand why everyone seems to have elevated her to sainthood. Very sad she died so young, but unfortunately many do.

I don't think you can begin to compare Princess Diana with the current Princess of Wales. For a start they come completely different backgrounds. Diana was Lady Diana Spencer before she married the then Prince Charles. Catherine was a commoner although her family were very well off. All that is before we onto the fact that William and Catherine were a love match and still seem to have a very strong and loving relationship.

Diana described her marriage as involving three of them as Charles never ended his affair with Camilla before during or after his marriage to Diana. How Catherine would have behaved in similar circumstances is anybody's guess.

Whatever you may think about them, Meghan and Harry also seem happy with each other and I think Harry compares Meghan with Diana partly because they are the two women in his life he really loves. He also seems to find echoes in the way the royal family and the press treated Meghan in the way his mother was treated.

She was never ‘Princess Diana’.

She was Diana, Princess Of Wales after her divorce, and simply ‘HRH The Princess Of Wales’ when she was married.
