Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s cloudy and grey
Such a worry Ash sorry to hear it’s kept you awake, I think the solicitor is a good idea and hopefully put your mind at rest
A trip to the shops and garden centre this morning, I’m hoping to get a few colourful plants to brighten up the front of the house
What a lovely biscuit from your DGD Mizina!
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐

Oh and these flowers were given to me while on holiday in memory of my belated husband - it’s so good to have friends ❤️

Good morning from a cool dry and windy east coast of Fife.
Yesterday was a gorgeous day, the sun was out and the day became quite warm I was driven to one of my local towns by my excellent carer where I went for a game of bingo with her.
The excitement grew with each passing minute and between us we won 3 games. I bought a fabulous designer handbag from my local charity shop costing me £5, it looks brand new and I’m delighted with my purchase

Have a good day my friends, love to you all

Mizuna love the biscuit! What a sweet granddaughter you have.🤗

Good morning from Cornwall where it's cool and rainy. A trip to hospital yesterday to check my knee dressing. When it was removed the nurse laughed and said, 'It looks just like the crimping on a pasty.' She called in the surgeon to check his handiwork and he laughed and said, 'Oh it looks just like a Cornish pasty.' 😂 Anyway, I'm told it's in good condition and is certainly feeling much better, freed from the dressing.

My granddaughter came later with her dad and a gingerbread kit. They had a good look at my scar which she then added to a biscuit. (It says 'Your knee' on the right.) 🤣 She and I had such a lovely catch-up after a month of not seeing each other.

What a nightmare Ash. Thinking of you.

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. I had written a long post, but it disappeared!

Have a good day.

Good morning everyone from a bright dry Northampton, but it does look as though we have had a bit of rain overnight.
Up early as I am planning on going to Rushden Lakes today for a mooch around and probably lunch out. Those M&S vouchers are still burning a hole in my pocket!

Had three dance classes yesterday, tap, ballet and Barre (a new class for me), so was in need of a rest and a lazy afternoon when I got home. Made a large batch of chicken curry for dinner, and have three portions left and ready to go in the freezer.

Must just check the bus times before deciding what time to set out.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from a cloudy hillside in south Glos, another restless night 🙄
I had a lovely catchup with my friend yesterday, I actually resisted buying anything at the garden centre which must be a first for me!
I did get some lovely runner beans and homemade faggots from the farm shop which we enjoyed for lunch.
Today the carpenter is putting the windows in the summerhouse, he’s been away for a week or so. Hopefully it will be finished soon!
I need to tidy up the foxgloves etc that have been magnificent this year, I will scatter the seeds everywhere and hope for more next year (though being biennial they’ll not flower until the year after). I should get a second flowering this year 🤞🏻
Have a lovely weekend 🌹

Good morning from Malta where it is going to be another very hot day.

I have no plans other than to catch up on some cleaning. I don’t have a big place to clean so it doesn’t take too long although in the heat I do have to do it in stages.🥵

This evening I will go over to babysit the boys as their parents are going out. I love any chance I get to spend time with them, They had been a bit happier yesterday so I hope they are settling into their new routine.

Ash I’m so sorry you are having this awful worry hanging over you. I hope it can be dealt with soon so you can stop feeling so stressed.🙏🏻

Wishing you all a good day ☀️

Good morning from s somerset, dry and sunny here for a few hours

I am aiming to get myself out for a cycle ride by 9, it will set me up for the day. Nothing else is planned apart from spending another hour on sewing my dress, the side pockets this time and bodice to skirt

I have a very heavy parcel standing ready for pick -up in the hall, which will be on monday. Ds is over the moon with my transfer of wood carving tools and equipment, which is/has been via three parcels. I am excited to see how he progresses. I have kept some equipment back for myself but mainly to make small carvings with small tools, if I get the mojo back.

The day is lightening and I need to get outside now, to pick blueberries

Have a good day

Good morning from a cloudy Torbay.

Thank you all for being so supportive over my water leak issue yesterday and thank you, Stilllearning for reminding me of what I should appreciate about living here. It’s easy to lose sight of that in such times.

The issue has kept me awake since 4.00 am because, as expected, I’ve received little help from the management company. They’ve emailed details of the insurance policy and just left me to it now. I shall be in touch with a solicitor on Monday.

I hope your eye soon improves, grandMattie and everyone has a good weekend. 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Good morning Mick and all who follow, it’s another dry day on the north Wales coast and I’m enjoying the chamber-pot ☕️ before trotting off for my newspaper.

Read Ashcombe scare about her water bill - lawdy, I’d have to lie down for a week in a darkened room if it happened to me 😱 I do hope it’s resolved quickly Ash x

Will pop to M&S later and a quiet evening to enjoy before tomorrow’s bizziness with tennis and football with some TdF 🚵‍♀️ thrown into the mix!

Have a good weekend everyone x

Good morning from a sunny Bristol. It is sunny atm.
Yesterday was quiet, a visit to Waitrose, and stopped at the optician. I spoke to (but wasn’t examined by) the optician who told me not to worry unless my eye got worse. A visit to the eye hospital would be on the cards.
Today I have church coffee, nothing else on the cards. I shall carry on with my patchwork and read. If it isn’t too old/windy,I may sit out.
I hope the weekend of sport meets your expectations. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good Morning Everyone,
A grey but dry start here in brackley at the moment.
Planning my usual routine bus journey to Bicester , and meet others I know plus a small shop.
My TV seems to be acting normal at the moment which is better than last weekend .
Apart from watching the drama unfold on the Tour De France a quiet day with the usual Chinese Take Away later .
Take Care,
Mick
