Dh had a letter about a procedure some time ahead, with a number to ring if he couldn’t make it.
So since we were going to be away, he rang it. Oops, it was a wrong number on the letter. He was directed to the correct number. Oops, wrong again! After another couple of tries he eventually got through to the right dept. of a major hospital, and informed the person on the other end of the wrong number on the letter.
‘Yes, sorry - we are aware.’
So why the hell are letters still being sent out with the wrong number? If they don’t want the expense of re-printing, can’t someone cross it out and write in the correct one?
No wonder so many appointments are missed.
This is by no means the first incidence of hopelessly inefficient admin we’ve experienced.
Angela Rayner is a scrounger, grifter and shameless hypocrite.
