Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, where it is 15° C.
Another here, who couldn't sleep, nothing to do with the heat, I coughed all night.
When I asked the other day about my recent chest xray, I was told that they were taking ten weeks to come back!! 😡 Cough on MD!
Yesterday was rather full on to say the least.
* BabyD was sick after breakfast in the middle of one of my coughing fits, which meant she had to be stripped.
* We eventually set off and I asked DH, why we were going in the wrong direction. Oh, I have no petrol , despite saying he would fill up on Monday after golf.
* On asking if he had put her water bottle in the car ( his only job), he had not. So back home we went, I couldn't find it and she had broken the spare the other day.
* We eventually arrived in a gridlocked Irvine, because the main road was shut. Don't worry, remember I worked down here, ( Yes, forty years ago!!) I know all the short cuts. He DID NOT!
* Twenty minutes later, stuck in a traffic jam, Dollie had a nose bleed. Gran, its a bad one, but I have stuffed cotton wool (which I keep in her door for emergencies). up it.
I went into my bag to get tissues, to find there were none.
I had forgotten DD took them at the weekend, when she spilled her drink.
* Eventually, we arrived at the Harbouride, where I suggested we stop for lunch. Dollie then vomited, due to the blood she had ingested. 😭 Thank goodness I am a Sherpa and had packed for every eventuality! 😉
* BabyD at this point was vocally making it clear she needed fed. I sorted her, while wee Dollie 💕 sat patiently.
She took one look at Dollie's more interesting lunch and threw hers away!
You will be asking where Mr MD was, he was definitely there, I think.😉.
We did eventually make the beach, only to find it was heaving with teenagers, down on the train from Glasgow. The loud music was horrendous.🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
Bearing in mind that I had an excruciatingly painful back, I think I did pretty well!
The important thing was that my girl's had a ball! 😍
The only downside was that Babydoll had a full blown strop, when she had to leave and threw herself face down in the sand.. How do you clean a baby, covered in snot, sand and tears?
For all those who are struggling, especially *Gingster's daughter and a granspal, who is unwell, I pray things will improve.
I wish you all a pleasant day, folks and I hope mine is less stressful.
