Have the decency to leave them out of it.
Angela Rayner is a scrounger, grifter and shameless hypocrite.
I cannot understand the mentality of those people , mostly men , causing so much damage in England at the moment. We are all shocked at the murders in Southport but why are they damaging and even looting shops ? This mentality of keeping England for the English is not found in Wales or Scotland but it is found in nothern Ireland . I see them waving flags of Saint George and rioting in so many cities. If the killer of these childen had been say French would they feel the same ? I am sure colour comes into it . I saw someone orchestrating the youths to cause havoc what are their parents thinking they are up to . I must admit I dispair of the mentality of these people .
Have the decency to leave them out of it.

Farage has nothing to do with it. Stop blaming him, he only talks sense and asks questions. It isn't to do with race, it is to do with the uncontrolled illegal immigration which we are all paying for, yet us who were born here are overlooked and penalised. Nothing to do with skin colour. There has been two tier policing. There is much more to this than meets the eye. People have had enough. The majority of people protest peacefully and it's shameful they are tarred with the usual 'far-right' tag when all they want is fairness.
Well 8 (?) of them have been sentenced today , so thats a start. Unless you think thats unfair too.
Actually I am wondering how Starmer quickly arranged for this lot to be sentenced yet the person who killed the 3 little girls will not be sentenced until the autumn.

A far right group is sharing the names and addresses of all the immigrant related charities.
“A far-right Telgram group with 13,000 members is sharing a list of 39 immigration-related charities, advice centres and solicitors as targets for arson attacks on Wednesday night. The group also includes calls to murder ethnic minorities, anti-fascists and government ministers”
If this is correct then those responsible must be locked away for good.
💯agree with that view

Just read an account of what happened in Rotherham in the Guardian, apparently they set fire to the hotel then tried to block the doors. And some got inside chasing asylum seekers, hitting them etc., they were terrified, was one Palestinian fleeing Gaza to encounter this!
Reminds me of the KKK. Is just beyond words really.Yes Babs agree with you, and hope some get full force of the law.
These are far right thugs- murderous thugs. Nazi salutes and tattoos.
Yes- and to think some here on GN support them, and approve - is just terrifying for our GCs.
FGS Stop exaggerating!!
I have not seen a single poster on here say they support or approve them.
Why are you doing this?
Very few people on gransnet seem to read widely
You may or may not be right, who’s to say, but you can’t generalise like that and then assume it applies to everybody
Clearly it doesn’t
Good to see the BBC recognising that the riots have tipped over into terrorism.
At long last the gloves are off.
I take you are a Guardian reader, to them everyone who does not agree with the are far right, whatever that is supposed to mean.
Very few people on gransnet seem to read widely. The internet allows us to read views from around the world. Gransnet however seems fixated on Brexit with some peculiar ideas about those who voted for it.

I blame Farage and his ilk ,they,ve rampedup hatred against anyone not born in England for years .This is the outcome along with Brexit and the loss of thousands of EU citizens who held up the NHS amongst other things. We haven’t had racist riots here in Scotland we have had warring football fans and that’s bad enough …Iexpect we,ll seethe so called “Kings11” out on the streets when there is as planned a EDL event in Glasgow next month ..the Kingd 11” are Rangers fans ,unionists and royalists…in the main so this behaviour is right up their street..they even wrecked George Square when they won a match
You are talking rubbish, I voted reform & certainly do not support these violent thugs, it’s sickening to watch, I am sure NF doesn’t condone it either. Most people who voted reform, aren’t far right at all. . What they do worry about is boats full of young men who we know nothing about, they destroy their passports & papers, I am sure the majority of them are very nice people but this country hasn’t got the schools, GPs, dentist , infrastructure to support them. Most reform voters have voted for them purely from a pragmatic point of view!
Well isn’t the chap from ‘Hope not Hate’ distributing the type of misinformation that Starmer is clamping down on? Muppet.
Let’s wait and see.
P.s. my god glad this wasn’t said by Farage - you’d have all had his guts for garters.
Farage has everything to do with it, he actually suggested that it was Black Lives Matter protests that encouraged yobs go out and fire bomb hotels, blocking exits so hopefully the many innocent people inside would be murdered.
Disgraceful and politicians of every hue have condemned him for it.
There are no excuses, no justification, for what has been happening recently.
I know people who are pissed off with illegal immigration but they are not about to fire bomb hotels with innocent people inside.
Is ridiculous to suggest that because a group of people have an axe to grind with the government they should behave like terrorists. I personally have an axe to grind with the government regarding funding for the NHS, adult social care, education, as well as providing affordable housing but am not getting a group of likeminded people and going to commit acts of violence.
This absurd validation of acts of violence because some people feel annoyed about the governments handling of illegal immigration has to stop before someone is actually killed.
And the assertion that people can’t discuss illegal immigration is also absurd. In my opinion people discuss it all the time. And Farage most of all.

His actions (or lack of) since the riots started have been universally condemned by politicians across the political spectrum, do you think you know better than they do?
If it was just on Gransnet that he was pilloried you may have a point, but when senior Tory politicians are doing so I suspect strongly that he has a case to answer.

Cutting to the chase - looting and random senseless acts of violence are far from being unique to England.
I find it particularly tragic when it happens in countries where there is widespread poverty and it is the small shopkeepers, often struggling themselves to survive, who see their businesses wrecked.
Absolutely, just look at Bangladesh recently, over 300 dead and so many injured in their protests.

Well said. I agree.
Just to be clear, I do not support violence!

I haven’t read that asylum seekers were ‘chased and hit’ as is claimed in posts above. The Police say they they were locked in their rooms.Let’s not embroider the real events as they were bad enough anyway.
Unfortunately I have seen that, the agitators got into the hotel in Rotherham, and chased and threatened asylum seekers, one asylum seeker was hit, according to the Mail.
It’s terrible if they did, but the Mail? It hasn’t been verified anywhere else.
It wouldn’t surprise me if the Mail was wrong, but nonetheless it was very frightening for the residents. This from Sky News,
news.sky.com/story/asylum-seekers-slept-in-the-woods-as-rioters-targeted-rotherham-hotel-in-disgusting-display-of-thuggery-13191224
Those poor children watching it all happen from their window.

Ironically, one of the most racist people I know is married to an (admittedly paler skinned) person from a Far Eastern country who they actually brought to this country after marriage.
This person is nasty to Asian people who were actually born in this country and it baffles me.
Anyone of any ethnicity can be racist.
