Just read an account of what happened in Rotherham in the Guardian, apparently they set fire to the hotel then tried to block the doors. And some got inside chasing asylum seekers, hitting them etc., they were terrified, was one Palestinian fleeing Gaza to encounter this!
Reminds me of the KKK. Is just beyond words really.

Most people who voted reform, aren’t far right at all. . What they do worry about is boats full of young men who we know nothing about, they destroy their passports & papers, I am sure the majority of them are very nice people but this country hasn’t got the schools, GPs, dentist , infrastructure to support them. Most reform voters have voted for them purely from a pragmatic point of view!

Farage has everything to do with it, he actually suggested that it was Black Lives Matter protests that encouraged yobs go out and fire bomb hotels, blocking exits so hopefully the many innocent people inside would be murdered.
Disgraceful and politicians of every hue have condemned him for it.
There are no excuses, no justification, for what has been happening recently.
I know people who are pissed off with illegal immigration but they are not about to fire bomb hotels with innocent people inside.
Is ridiculous to suggest that because a group of people have an axe to grind with the government they should behave like terrorists. I personally have an axe to grind with the government regarding funding for the NHS, adult social care, education, as well as providing affordable housing but am not getting a group of likeminded people and going to commit acts of violence.
This absurd validation of acts of violence because some people feel annoyed about the governments handling of illegal immigration has to stop before someone is actually killed.
And the assertion that people can’t discuss illegal immigration is also absurd. In my opinion people discuss it all the time. And Farage most of all.

His actions (or lack of) since the riots started have been universally condemned by politicians across the political spectrum, do you think you know better than they do?
If it was just on Gransnet that he was pilloried you may have a point, but when senior Tory politicians are doing so I suspect strongly that he has a case to answer.

I find it particularly tragic when it happens in countries where there is widespread poverty and it is the small shopkeepers, often struggling themselves to survive, who see their businesses wrecked.

Absolutely, just look at Bangladesh recently, over 300 dead and so many injured in their protests.

Unfortunately I have seen that, the agitators got into the hotel in Rotherham, and chased and threatened asylum seekers, one asylum seeker was hit, according to the Mail.

It’s terrible if they did, but the Mail? It hasn’t been verified anywhere else.

This person is nasty to Asian people who were actually born in this country and it baffles me.
