True story.
My mum was only 4'10 and had very small little fingers. When she died year ago I had her wedding ring, a little gold one.
My hands and fingers are quite big because of rheumatoid and osteoarthritis and could only wear it on the little finger of my left hand.
One day I realized it was missing! I panicked and searched everywhere in my flat, basically turning the place upside down, texted my work's boss to see if it had been found and handed in, I checked the bathroom and shower unit, lifting up the shower floor mat, everything. I checked outside, still nothing. I was very angry with myself for losing it and sent an apology to mum.
Several weeks later one morning before work I was in the shower and felt something lumpy under the mat. I took it up and there was the ring .... even though it was definitely NOT there when I checked beforehand!
As I stood there clutching it in amazement I actually heard mum's voice say ''you found it then?!''
As soon as I was out of the shower I plonked it straight in my jewellery box, safe and sound!
