Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - isn’t it?

I saw this pic of Katie Price today and felt sad for her.
She presumably thinks what she is doing to her face and body make her more attractive, but I am seeing, over inflated lips, an over inflated bust, rough looking skin, dyed hair and unattractive tattoos. I hope she is happy with what this is costing her, but IMO true beauty comes from within- and can shine through the wrinkliest face!
I just know which one I would rather be.

Sometimes you meet someone and there is something about their smile, laugh or sense of humour which just connects you to them. That is what I call inner beauty. Doesn't matter the age, culture, gender or class, they just have it.

Yes, I think this too

I would feel sorry for her but she dragged her son Harvey to Turkey and back, so he had to watch her being arrested at the airport. Did she think of him in all this?

He has to look at his mother covered in blood, staples and incisions weeping with pus. Then she went into the hotel swimming pool like that and upset the other guests. So I have little sympathy for her to be honest.

I think she's made herself unattractive. There's nothing like natural beauty whatever age you are.

Not nessasarily, some people have disfigurment, they were born with it and surgery to sort it out helps them gain confidence and not always think about their looks.
Nature has sometimes been unkind to people.
I do think Katie has had too much, and I feel for her as like others have said their maybe mental health problems.

I agree with you RosiesMaw2 and I see a sad person who will never be satisfied.

Haven’t the surgeons any sense of right and wrong. Any conscience, at all. Or is it just money

BlueBelle Sat 10-Aug-24 16:57:09

What is it shes had done that involves bleeding ears ? I know nothing about these procedures never set foot in any kind of ‘beauty’ salon

Galaxy Sat 10-Aug-24 16:59:49

Yes I think the surgeons in many of these cases are utterly immoral.

Boz Sat 10-Aug-24 17:01:27

Not for the first time, I find myself agreeing with Chestnut,
Silly woman.

Disregard that I ve now read your post Chestnut so she’s had another facelift and new veneers
If she’s lost all her money what’s she paying these places with ?

BlueBelle Sat 10-Aug-24 17:07:51

Thanks MissI poor lady she’s a total mess needs taking into a psychiatric hospital for a long stay I think

It does seem that people who go to Turkey to have operational procedurals take a risk. Worst case scenarios there have been deaths. Sometimes the NHS has to rectify what's been botched. In the long term it's such a risk having umpteen unnecessary surgical procedures with accompanying anaesthetics it can't be good for the body. There is an inevitably about aging. Ultimately even KP will have to come to terms with that.

It think KP can still make money from Only Fans to support her lifestyle and her new book is selling, God knows who buys it though, I didn't think there was anything left to find out about her.shock

I think her son might have lost access to his care placement due to the money she's earned meaning that his care should be funded by her? If he's over a certain age I dont know if the government would step in and provide for him in this desperate situation?

I read that she can't get legal aid and can't fund legal representation either, so I don't know how she will manage in court. It's certainly an awful time, especially for her son needing her care (or financial provision for care)

He is an adult. She doesn’t have to fund his care

I believe he is partially sighted? So hopefully it wasn't too distressing for him to see? He doesn't look distressed. Whatever her faults, I do think she loves him but is a disordered and ill person.

It must have been awful for the hotel guests though and I wouldn't want to use that pool afterwards.

I don't know how care fees work. If she doesn't have to contribute, hopefully he's now back with whoever cares for him and feeling secure.

She was once so pretty.

JaneJudge Sat 10-Aug-24 19:02:46

He’ll have health and social care funding. Hopefully she’ll have access to lawyers to get it all sorted properly. The rest of us are left to our own resources

BlueBelle Sat 10-Aug-24 19:03:21

I think she loves her children very much and I think she’s been very good with Harvey but she definitely has a mental health problem, probably body dysmorphia These women going to Turkey for bum lifts, tummy tucks and all sorts of facelifts are often quite overweight and often the last person you would expect would be so daft so shortsighted I know of two professional women here who you would think had got brains have both been refused stomach procedures by NHS as unsafe so off they toddle to Turkey 🙄

petra Sat 10-Aug-24 19:08:50

BlueBelle
There is no blood coming from her ears. That blood is coming from the clips. She has had a full face lift. That means all the skin around the hairline is pulled ( and then obviously cut) then clipped.

why on earth would she want 'enhancements' she looks very strange now..

JaneJudge Sat 10-Aug-24 19:36:24

Because it’s how she earns her living I know it is sad

crazyH Sat 10-Aug-24 19:36:54

I’ve seen pictures of her as a young girl - she was undeniably pretty 🤩

Macadia Sat 10-Aug-24 19:47:42

I think the late popstar, Michael Jackson, is the winner of plastic surgeries gone wrong.

Deedaa Sat 10-Aug-24 19:59:36

When it comes to aging I will just quote Zandra Rhodes, who at 83 is still wearing her pink hair, bright blue eye shadow and thick black liner. She says "I don't look young, but I still look like me" I think that looking like me is probably the best way to go.
