Taking my life in my hands as this is bound to be a contentious issue and I foresee the deletions flying thick and fast…
Here goes

If you had to choose only one out of these to eat for the rest of your life - and the other never again, which would it be?

Cheese šŸ§€ or chocolate šŸ«

(And for the aficionados - which variety?)

Babs03 Wed 14-Aug-24 07:21:33

Yep, no posh stuff, Cadbury’s milk choc every time.

Babs03 Wed 14-Aug-24 07:20:35

Chocolate though I love cheese, I just love chocolate a bit more, always cheers me up when feeling upset.

TerriBull Wed 14-Aug-24 07:19:26

I meant to add I hardly ever have chocolate which makes its desirability greater, well for me anyway.

TerriBull Wed 14-Aug-24 07:17:23

Really hard! sometimes think, when I'm eating a cheese such as Stilton, it has the same euphoric effect as chocolate. I'll opt for chocolate, none of the 70% or more cocoa solids, healthy in small doses stuff, I'll have the bog standard unhealthy Cadburys thank you very much.

Cheese
I really don’t like chocolate very much at all rarely eat it except an odd individual soft centre at Christmas and never buy chocolate but I like all cheeses soft, hard, flavoured

Cheese, a tasty cheddar for me is a favourite. I don’t eat much chocolate these days.

downtoearth Wed 14-Aug-24 07:09:18

Cheese , cant remember last time I ate chocolate.

I love all cheese, soft garlic and herb, stinky blue, humble cheddar, prefer cheesey to meaty dinners.

Maybe come back as a mouse in my next carnation.

Bonnybanko Wed 14-Aug-24 07:04:07

I love a variety of cheeses and chocolate I’ll continue to eat both forever (I hope)

kittylester Wed 14-Aug-24 07:02:40

Chocolate!!! I'm not an afficionado- anything Cadbury's will be fine.

EkwaNimitee Wed 14-Aug-24 07:02:18

Wouldn’t be bothered if I ate neither again as I can’t eat most cheese nor am I a chocolate addict.
Now if you were to pose the choice of never drinking coffee or wine again…..!

Chocolate šŸ™‚

JackyB Wed 14-Aug-24 06:44:46

I have grown to hate the taste of chocolate over about 30% and never could stomach really dark chocolate - gives me the runs.

Cheese on the other hand - oooh yes. A runny brie, a crumbly salty pecorino, a strong Appenzeller, a creamy Roquefort. As long as it doesn't come straight out of the fridge and has had time to develop its flavour - yum!

LOUISA1523 Wed 14-Aug-24 06:26:20

I don't eat either so no choice to make

JamesandJon33 Wed 14-Aug-24 06:18:49

Cheese, plain old Cheddar

NotSpaghetti Wed 14-Aug-24 06:17:46

Cheese.
An organic one... but I do like a variety.

There’s always one, isn’t there?. wink

sassysaysso Wed 14-Aug-24 05:36:15

No contest. Dairy intolerant so it's chocolate all the way, sadly only in small portions, can no longer binge on it which isnt a bad thing. I suppose. Was never a great cheese lover.

Joseann Wed 14-Aug-24 05:26:34

Cheese.

Tuaim Wed 14-Aug-24 03:50:30

Definitely chocolate. Cadbury's Whole Nut to be precise.

CocoPops Wed 14-Aug-24 02:25:11

Cheese. British mature cheddar please.

Grammaretto Wed 14-Aug-24 01:45:59

Cheese but why can't I have both!

welbeck Wed 14-Aug-24 01:25:27

cheese definitely.
pref a rubbery kind, or mousetrap.
anything mild, and not likely to move about in the fridge when i'm not looking.

Charleygirl5 Wed 14-Aug-24 01:21:25

Chocolate although I love cheese.

crazyH Wed 14-Aug-24 01:00:51

Cheese - any soft cheese

Redhead56 Wed 14-Aug-24 00:44:00

I only ever eat chocolates at Christmas chocolate liquor's I can do without them. I like various cheeses especially with a lovely homemade chutney so that’s my choice.
