I’d seen that ad a while ago and was a bit intrigued - but I couldn’t find any real link to that particular appliance. There are some good standing stairlifts, but they all require a track.

I think you could be right. Next time I see it, I will follow the link and see what transpires.🤓

I have seen other stair-lifty things things on Facebook that look about as useful as a blotting-paper flotation aid. One was blocks of wood tied to the feet. They usually have a link attached. I tried one link out of curiosity. It led to a whole page of various ads - the result of some site-owner putting "stair lift" into a search box. I think they are somebody's idea of a joke. Maybe just click-bait. They only caught me once
