Oh dear, that could be described as a Freudian slip I suppose.
I once heard a woman on a farmers market say to a young boy selling eggs 'I want sex.' I turned to her horrified until I saw the boy calmly putting half a dozen eggs into an egg box. We were holidaying in Scotland at the time where the word 'six' often sounds like 'sex'.
My DH laughed when I told him, he hadn't heard a thing because his hearing aid was switched off.
