Good morning from Shropshire.A rainy day forecast.

We enjoyed apple day in town yesterday.H was able to take part in the whole process of making apple juice which he enjoyed making and we enjoyed drinking. It was a warm day so afterwards we sat and watched the Morris dancers. The only slightly sour note was when the vegan cafe wouldn’t serve us because of H’s allergies🤷‍♀️

Today we are going out for lunch and then will spend a few hours with mum.No change sadly. It is frustrating as every day we seem to have to tell the staff everything that has happened from day one.

Lovely harvest display grandMattie.

Have the best day you can everyone🦩

Puss, we too have been asked for non perishables. But, I make preserves for sale in the church with the vegetables I bring. No one else brings fresh stuff, just me. I like to see God’s bounty.

Good morning from south glow, it’s damp and dark out there 👀
That’s a lovely display grandMattie, it’s years since I went to a harvest festival service.
After a bad night’s sleep I’m not going to be doing much today, hopefully DH will walk the dog this morning.
Yesterday I gave up with the Aran cardigan for my great niece, I will unravel it and start something easier today for her. I have a pattern from my friend that I will try.
I hope today goes well for you 🌹

Good morning all, that’s the heating kicked in here on the east coast of Fife. My ring doorbell tells me it’s dry and dark out there, the weather forecast says it’s 100% rain today however I’ll not be going to church I feel it’s best to stay at home as I still think the lurgy is with me

Take care my friends try to enjoy your day stay safe

Harvest in church this morning we have been told to bring items for food bank. No fresh vegetables or fruit. I really like your display grand Mattie.
Even harvest has changed!!!
That's my rant for today.
Have a good day everyone.

Thanks taichinan.
I wake up around 0430 most morning and wait for ‘hours’ for Mick to open up…. Hope you manage some sleep!💤

Lovely arrangement grandmattie.

Good morning. And goodness me Mick you're an early riser! I'm lying here hoping I might get some more sleep having been awake since 2.20. It's dark and dry here too, but rain is forecast for later.
I've no plans for the day beyond the usual chores - probably just as well after so little sleep! That will no doubt come involuntarily at some point.
Have a good day everyone, or at least the best you can x

My vegetable arrangement

Good morning from Bristol. I haven’t looked out yet, so don’t know if the forecast rain has arrived.
Did anyone see the Aurora last night?
My frantic morning went well; veges collected and arranged (photo to follow); coffee set up and served: then rushed off to the surgery or COVID/flu shots.
Got there 5 minutes early. My heart sank when I saw about 12 people in front of me. Waited 30 minutes, packed like sardines, nowhere to sit…. There were 35 or more people behind me; I felt grateful for the short queue in front of me. Apparently, four medics were vaccinating. I was also told that they had at least another 5 sessions!
What amused me was that we were were there to be protected against flus, yet the most vulnerable were stuck in an airless room, in the most likely scenario to catch all these germs.🦠
I’m ok at the moment, with a slightly sore arm but waiting to feel as bad as with the RSV.
Harvest festival today, then nothing. I shall be kind to myself.
All the best to everyone, whether unhappy/in difficulties or not… Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
