What a sad and tragic end to a young man. I wish his family and very young son all the best to get through their grief and the press intrusion that has already started.

The Argentinian police have supposedly released the gory details of his injuries. How disgusting and unnecessary. His poor lad will be able to read all this in coming years.

How desperately sad for his family. I hope he is at peace now.

In the early days, and do not take this as gossiping, my tiny memory is hearing him play football with his bandmates in the neighbouring garden. During their downtime, they were just normal carefree young lads, like anyone else's son.

Sadly another avoidable death. The recent photos of him show his eyes looking dead. Terribly sad for his young son. May he Rest in Peace now.

What is really sad too is Liam was worth in excess of $70 million. Wealth of such proportions and yet (like others before him) he couldn’t find happiness or meaning in his life.

A tragedy for his family and personal friends without a doubt.

Otherwise just another rich popstar dying from an excess of drugs and/or alcohol.
