Anyone else think it's too tight even for her figure?

BlueBelle Thu 24-Oct-24 22:11:42

Haven’t seen it but she’s a silly looking woman with all her facial surgery

Babs03 Thu 24-Oct-24 22:40:55

I think Vorderman has done a great job speaking out about the menopause and other important topics. What she wears is her business.

Allira Thu 24-Oct-24 22:47:18

Do you mean the mirrored sequin dress?
It's not low cut, sleeveless and doesn't look too tight in the photo I saw, although I didn't watch the programme.

Wish I could wear it!!

I thought it was one of her better dresses. I'm not keen on her but it's probably envy on my part 😃

Goodness, she did a great job. I used to have to organise these do’s at the Grosvenor House and it was difficult to do. Me and my team were treated to a lovely cream tea when all the tables were decorated and name cards displayed. I also was lucky to work for a merchant bank in the city and got to enjoy a dinner party myself.

Not a fan of CV. Saw her recently on "have I got news for you". I thought she'd gone way too far with the plastic surgery, to the point where she couldn't not smile. Still that's her choice, her body, her money. I don't have to think the same as her, and I don't have to be impressed by her surgeon's ability or lack thereof. Anyone remember the 'catwoman'? I wasn't impressed by her surgeon either.

Polwal I don't think so. I assume it's a clingy material.

Bridie22 Fri 25-Oct-24 06:41:19

It wasn't that dress Allira, it was more silver tin foil stretchy lycia, very clingy.

OldFrill Fri 25-Oct-24 06:47:43

Allira has posted the correct dress. It's stunning. as is she. Beauty and brains. I don't care how she attains it that's her choice.

Naughty Carol, copying my dress. I wore it last year of course.

she means the dress worn on ' Pride of Britain Awards' so she didn't mean that one now did she!

Claire Sweeney has worn the same dress before too. I think it suits them equally, infact more so than on the very slim model.
For me, it's just a bit too weddingy guest.

I agree Allira, Carol Vorderman is whip-arse clever and seems like a very genuine person. She also has a lot of interesting & informative ideas regarding women's health & the menopause.
Carol appears to have been shutdown by Tv companies, ect for the last 2\3 yrs; being replaced by the likes of Holly Whatshername & the other bland ilk of beige, non-challenging types. Anyway Carol looks fabulous, She has brains & beauty plus a good sprinkling of Chutzpah. 😎Adore

Her figure is fabulous.
She isn't showing anything at all in the dress, other than highlighting her shape. smile

I thought that was the one she wore at the Awards (although I didn't watch them).

A photo would help!

Cossy Fri 25-Oct-24 12:19:04

I’ll be honest, I thought she looked truly awful! She’s an attractive woman, why she doesn’t just age gracefully is beyond me!!

Cossy Fri 25-Oct-24 12:24:32

Having said that, she and Ashley Banjo were great presenters and the programme and the award recipients brought tear to my eye!

Her figure is amazing, but the dress was very tight when she walked, especially around her bottom haha. I’d love to have her figure, but she’s clearly had lots of surgery and she didn’t need it! Simon Cowell looks pretty mad now with his surgery and/or Botox.

eddiecat78 Fri 25-Oct-24 12:26:44

A few years ago I saw her walking the coastal path in Pembrokeshire. She was all in black - everything skin tight - it was not a good look. She lived near there at that time

jasper16 she must have picked it up after you'd sent it to your local charity shop 😉

MissAdventure Fri 25-Oct-24 12:30:36

Well, fashion advice is to play up your good features, and she was "rear of the year" at one point, cossy.

I didn't see the programme, so unless it was the dress on this thread, then I don't know what I'm talking about as always

valdavi Fri 25-Oct-24 12:41:54

I sort of agree with Polwal, she looks pretty good in (the dress Alira posted). But she could've looked even better if it had had just a bit of ease & drape in it, not loose just not skin-tight.

But I used to wear dungarees & pinafores back when I did have a decent figure, so I'm ignorant about these things.
