Good morning from Torbay where it’s dry but breezy.

The service at church went well and people seemed to enjoy my playing. grandMattie. I began to learn to play the piano when I was eight years old after a teacher in school commented on how quickly I had picked up learning to play the recorder. The skill has served me well in my teaching career but I didn’t expect to still be playing at 74!

The rehearsal went well, considering two principal characters are ill, one of whom is in hospital following a serious asthma attack! My other theatre (Props) friend whom I mentioned several weeks ago is still lingering in hospital, brighter some days and uplifted by her son's recent arrival from China.

Your sadness as you recall such poignant memories of your sister is understandable, Bellasnana. I'm sure your friend will offer you the kindly support that you display to others at such times.

Move It or Lose It today at a different venue which will be interesting…..!

Have a good week, if possible. 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Still dark in South Yorkshire. Today is my birthday. I went out yesterday evening with DD and the menfolk and had a lovely, if not very healthy, dinner! They gave me some lovely presents including a day on a print making course which I’m greatly looking forward to.
Early this morning I will phone the heating engineer again and see if we can finally get to the bottom of the boiler woes, and chase up the surgery to find out why my repeat prescription has not turned up. But before that, I have coffee, biscuits and J.S. Bach. Bliss.
Bellasnana💐
Have th best day you can folks.

Good morning from south Glos where, apart from being dark, I have no idea what it’s like outside!
A grotty afternoon yesterday, ending up in bed with hot water bottles, painkillers and a miserable me 😵‍💫 My IBS has never been this bad before, luckily it seems to be easing this morning 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Anyway, Tesco cancelled my delivery for some obscure reason so I need to set up another but beyond that I have nothing planned for today. DH will walk the dog and he can fend for himself if needs be.
Have a good day everyone 🌹

Good morning all it’s a cold dark and dry day here on the east coast of Fife. I’m contemplating what I’ll be doing today yesterday was very busy, I do know I’ll be having rice crispies tea and buttered toast with marmalade for breakfast after my shower.

Have a good day all those who’s birthday it is today have a good one 🎉🎉🎂🎂💐💐🎁🎁🥂🥂

Good morning from Malta where it’s another day of sun and 25°C. Yes, FGT, I think the weather here is very similar to your happy place.😎

This time 18 yeas ago I was boarding a flight to Scotland to see my very poorly sister. Sadly, she died as I was en route. She was only 54 and I feel so sad that she missed out on so much. She has four grandchildren (and a fifth expected soon) and would have been an amazing grandmother. 😞

A friend has invited me to meet for coffee this morning so that will cheer me up and stop me wallowing. I try to be a positive person but sometimes things just bring me down.

Wishing everyone a good day.☀️

Good morning from Bristol. Haven’t looked out but probably mild and dry.
Mick, GET PROFESSIONAL ADVICE NOW.
Quiet day yesterday - had chat after after-service coffee re. the FAB cafe I’m going to be hosting for Age UK in the church. We need a variety of things and a lot of clarification.
Getting on well with my quilt assembly, and made a pretty Christmas runner for sale in church for MSF In a fortnight.
Same again today, with a spot of dust rearrangement and a trip to Tesco.
I hope your fingers were sufficiently nimble yesterday, Ash; I’m in awe of anyone who can read music and play a musical instrument.
Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning Mick and all from Polmont where it's currently 10° and dry.
Yesterday was another busy day. I went to Aldi for food and made a lasagne for dinner. Dd popped in with the boys and nipped to Aldi while they stayed with me. It was lovely to see them. Later I visited mum who managed a chat.
Today is early childcare day. School drop off then playgroup drop off and I'll do the ironing while dgs2 is at playgroup. Then I'll pick up dgs1 from school later. He's eating for Scotland at the moment and both boys are going through a growth spurt. I'll have the other half of the lasagne for dinner with salad and garlic bread. Have a good day.
