My friends and family say I’m caring, laugh a minute certainly don’t take myself seriously, loving. Impatient at times. Very family orientated, home loving, outspoken, but someone who can sniff out bulls****.

My daughter once told me I'm "an acquired taste" lol. I can see her point

Kate1949 Wed 13-Nov-24 13:14:48

Nervous, scared of everything, under confident, low self esteem,
but also kind, caring, helpful, family orientated, a good organiser.

Love it ziggy 🤣🤣

Our Yorkshire Lass says “she loves us in the abstract”. 😁
She & Himself can clash as both are very opinionated people. But lovely with it …

Completely bonkers

All the good stuff but with a certain edge ! Family take a sharp breath in if "the look " appears. Sadly not everyone recognises it so carnage has been known to happen, I mean verbally , never physical.

Generous, optimistic, happy, loving, artistic, intelligent, supportive, impulsive, sometimes annoying. And looking at this list, probably big-headed too!

Crossstitchfan Wed 13-Nov-24 14:10:45

Forgot the most important quality, VERY Family orientated! I adore them!

Cossy Wed 13-Nov-24 14:13:34

Loud, grumpy, silly, pedantic, overly worried about my adult children, generous, empathic and annoying

Truffle43 Wed 13-Nov-24 14:19:54

Mad as a box of frogs. Annoying a loving grandma and supportive.

My dgd recently described me to someone thus - ‘she’s lost most of her sight and her hearing but she behaves like a normal person.’ I was quite chuffed.

M0nica Wed 13-Nov-24 15:49:55

My son once told me how much he enjoyed having eccentric parents, which was a bit of a surprise because I thought we were boring ly 'normal' and dear daughter assured me, only this week, that I am odd and not normal. I am quite happy with these descriptions.

DS and I are diagnosed neurally diverse and I am pretty sure DD is and DGS awaits diagnosis.

M0nica Wed 13-Nov-24 15:50:34

oh, and I think most friends would agree with DS and DD.

I hate to think. My sister and I don't speak. I think she's cruel and she thinks I'm mental. My lovely parents, if they were still alive would have different opinions. My Mother would say I was a problem, my Father adored me. I actually don't have much family but would probably be seen as the black sheep!

Friends however, would say I'm reliable, trustworthy, kind and put others first.

I'd love to be described as being like my role model, who is the female engine Emily in the Thomas the Tank Engine series.
"Clever, cheerful, competent, that's Emily" goes her song.
I know I fall short in all three characteristics, but I try!

MissInterpreted Wed 13-Nov-24 17:13:03

I dread to think...

JamesandJon33 Wed 13-Nov-24 17:27:36

Intelligent, artistic, romantic . Doesn’t suffer fools gladly, pedantic and now nearly 80, does her own thing.

fancythat Wed 13-Nov-24 17:31:11

I have been called humble. By several different people.

I wouldnt say I was. Or not enough anyway.
I am not sure I deserve the title personally.

I must come across as that.
Not sure my inner self is really.

And writing this post, ccertainly isnt! smile

Completely bonkers

My daughter describes me as bonkers and a total nightmare
How very dare she ...😂

hollysteers Wed 13-Nov-24 17:53:20

DD thinks I’m unconventional and undomesticated (arty), my mother thought me conscientious and worried too much about other people, friend has described me as mad, eccentric and “sounds posh, but she isn’t” (meant as a compliment)

Curlywhirly Wed 13-Nov-24 18:25:13

A very 'mumsy' Mum, my family come first and nothing is too much trouble. I'm an animal lover and love small children. On the downside, I'm a real worrier and super sensitive (hate confrontation). I am hopeless in a crisis, but thankfully DH is brilliant and so level headed.

I feel far more comfortable with descriptions like this than any others.

Patsy70 Wed 13-Nov-24 19:06:05

I dread to think, but I do know that they love me, as I do them! 😂

Indigo8 Wed 13-Nov-24 19:06:31

No idea, I've never asked them. I daren't.
