We have had snowfall for a few hours now off and on sticking here and there. Is it snowing anywhere else or are we just the unlucky ones I say that as I hate snow.

There was snow on the ground earlier this morning but it’s gone now (Northants). The weather is forecast to turn milder for the next few days.

Heavy snow looking beautiful on the mountains close by, hope it stays there too but just a sprinkle here. Conwy, but 4 degrees, heating on.

It's November, winter, it's snowing!!! Who would have thought!

Not me.

I know in Scotland there may be some snow in November quite often, especially in the hills, but to me in the South of England it's quite rare. I don't remember snow falling before mid December most years, and even then it didn't always lie for more than a few hours.

We haven't seen any snow since Tuesday and I would quite like it to stay like that, at least for the next month or so.

Storm Bert on its way for the weekend now, weather warnings galore.

Snow here in Dorset. It is the first time my cat has ever seen snow and I think she blames me for it! She is looking at it through the cat flap and crying but has no intention of venturing out to explore the strange event.

Here in south Hampshire it’s very cold and it’s been snowing, but it’s not a heavy snow, although it is lying.
I’m cold ❄️❄️❄️

Freezing isn’t it madalene, ❄️ stopped now.
My daughters school let the children out to play in it.

The gritter has just been down, the first time this year. We never see it, unlesss very bad weather is predicted. At the moment the sun is shining, but it is bitterly cold.

It's unlike Devon to be snowed in, but schools are closed here and roads impassable.

Here in Dorset (Somerset border) it started with some sleet around 7am this morning, we were on our way to do the shopping. By the time we'd been to Tesco and then Lidls it was proper snow which gradually got thicker. It has pitched despite the damp ground, at the moment it's back to the tiny flakes.

Brilliant Maw. I thought it was a weather map. My eyes are really bad at the moment!😎

It was quite hard to enlarge and sharpen up into focus, but I found if I kept tapping at it, eventually it came tight.

It was quite interesting. I was trying to work out, what ours were called. That is if we ever see one.
Main roads and school routes are done first, it takes days to get to us!

We have five named gritters here in our LA ( I didn't know that) and as far as I can see, none are on your map, Maw

Brrrhead - named after Barrhead
Maidenchill - named after Maidenhill
Thaw-rnliebank - named after Thornliebank
Weather-Lee - named after Whitelee Windfarm and Netherlee
We Built This Gritty on Clarkston Toll - named after the song "We Built This City" by Jefferson Starship

We have snow forecast for Saturday, I hope not, I have things to do!

Snow was forecast fot this afternoon here in the south of Denmark. To my great surprise afternoon coincided with half-past eight this morning.

I have long known that the met. office apparently does not own a map of the kingdom of Denmark, today I discovered that the do n ot have a clock either!

Glorious sunny, cold weather. The snow continued for about an hour then melted away. More forecast for tonight.

Early for snow, we rarely have any before my birthday (26th November) when it ought to snow. I adore snow and was born in a snow storm.

Live just 8 miles outside of Glasgow where it’s cold but no snow yet.

A covering of snow yesterday, still lying around. Sharp frost this morning. I don't like the danger aspects of snow and ice, but love looking at it. South Lincolnshire.

Snowing in NE Scotland. The car was covered in frozen snow this morning. My windscreen cover was frozen on the glass. The door locks were also frozen. It was sunny but cold during the day, but snowing again now and the temperature is -1. No doubt it will get lower during the evening and night.
