We have had snowfall for a few hours now off and on sticking here and there. Is it snowing anywhere else or are we just the unlucky ones I say that as I hate snow.

Wyllow3 Tue 19-Nov-24 00:48:10

Here too, 2-3 inches, but the forecast is just for tonight. I like how it looks but not for getting out!

Redhead56 Tue 19-Nov-24 01:02:03

I agree it’s a nightmare going out and getting around in it!

Ailsa43 Tue 19-Nov-24 01:02:44

oh, oh,.where are you...roughly...

Wyllow3 Tue 19-Nov-24 01:12:20

To the East of the Pennines.

Mid-Lancs had a smattering of snow around midnight but nothing at the moment.

Plenty of light rain through the night in Bristol , but I doubt it’ll be cold enough for snow or frost…

Ailidh Tue 19-Nov-24 05:43:47

It started snowing on the Lancashire coast about 19:00 last night but nothing to see this morning.

mum2three Tue 19-Nov-24 06:02:10

Another in Lancashire. It snowed all yesterday evening, but the roads are clear this morning. Just a light covering on the grassy bits.

It’s wet here in south Glos and I fervently hope we don’t get snow. Living down narrow lanes on a hillside means ice and snow is a nightmare, we get stuck at home.

Don’t see much snow around here (I may regret saying that!) and if we did, even less likely to see the gritters out but I loved these road gritter names from North of the Border grin

Haven’t seen snow in years. You tend to get a bit romantic about it after a while, forgetting the unpleasant aspects. Last Winter we did see a bit of frost but only for an hour or so early in the morning. It was quite exciting for us, really.

It’s snowing quite heavily here in the East Midlands. It’s very wet and so far not settling on the road.

Georgesgran Tue 19-Nov-24 07:03:46

There’s a covering here in Durham - not far from the City.

Jaxjacky Tue 19-Nov-24 07:23:31

I love snow, but it’s rare here in the South so causes havoc when it happens, I think the last time was March 2018.

Usedtobeblonde Tue 19-Nov-24 07:25:34

It was snowing steadily in Stockport in the night but stopped now.
Still on the gardens and cars but the road is clear.
More forecast for today.

Sago Tue 19-Nov-24 07:29:25

In Cheshire/Shropshire looking after grandchildren and it’s snowed through the night.

Greyduster Tue 19-Nov-24 07:32:42

As Wyllow said, we have a good three inches of lying snow here in South Yorkshire. The road is like a skating rink though. It’s very pretty, but the sooner it is gone the better.

boheminan Tue 19-Nov-24 07:35:21

A dusting here in Oxfordshire

GrannyIvy Tue 19-Nov-24 07:36:03

Just rain in Cambridgeshire. We rarely ever have snow.

Chocolatelovinggran Tue 19-Nov-24 07:56:06

North Wales has had a significant snowfall.
Happy to say that I'm in the South East!

Casdon Tue 19-Nov-24 07:56:43

Wet snow in mid Wales, not settling because it’s well above freezing here.

shysal Tue 19-Nov-24 07:58:42

This is my weather in Oxfordshire this morning.

tanith Tue 19-Nov-24 08:00:01
