I think emojis are fine, in moderation. I like to use them.
But when there are whole sequences of them in a post or a post title they're just annoying. I'm perfectly able to read, thank you. I don't need messages given to me in pictures ๐ฟ
Donโt ever use this though ๐ !
Why, Cossy? is it rude?
I didnโt know and havenโt used it, but apparently it refers to a penis!
I use them when messaging friends, my sign off is ๐ฉท๐ท๐ฉท which simply means love from me and the tulip which was my late husbands favourite flower thatโs all. I use ๐คฌ๐ก when Iโm cross ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐คฆโโ๏ธ when Iโve got no idea whatโs going on ๐ฑ when Iโm shocked and ๐คญ when I should have kept my big mouth shut and thatโs about it.

Happy to see a few emojis. Like others here, I prefer them not to be "over-used", but I don't worry about it. (A lonely and rather isolated person I know, over-reacted negatively when a friend included one emoji in an email. IMO it's no wonder that this person is feeling isolated....life's too short!)
I like them but I donโt always know what they mean.
One of my family who lives abroad uses a purple heart to end a message quite often. I asked Dd and DiL what that means and neither knew. DiL said she uses it herself because she likes purple.
