Take it back,don't suffer

My partner fixed mine. He has a tool called a Dremmel. I just kept telling him where it was hurting/rubbing until it was perfect.

I went directly to a dental technician to get mine fitting comfortably after y dentist told me I would get used to them.

As a fellow denture wearer you are very lucky if a new denture fits perfectly from the start. I have always had to make a few trips to iron out the problems. Unless you have had to struggle with ill-fitting dentures you have no idea how painful they can be. Go back and keep going back until they are perfectly comfortable.

Thank you all. The dentist managed to fit it in correctly when I went back. I have bought some Bonjela to rub into my gums before trying again. I know that it does fit but cannot get it just right.

What sort of repair? Did you have it done via your dentist or direct with the lab?

My mother-in-law had to go back three times for adjustments.
She was advised to try it for a few days and if still wrong to go back.
She says it's "marvellous" now.
