Genuine Newspaper Article But I'm Not Sure Which Newspaper!

I'm not sure if this should be in Chat or Cafe!

PASSENGERS travelling first class on British Airways Boing 747's are worried about a re-design which some lavatories have windows. A woman travelling to New York complained there were no blinds. She was told by a stewardess, ''Madam, if some pervert is clinging to the side of this aircraft at at 35,000 feet they deserve to see everything.''

HA HA HA!

Yes it made me chuckle. So did this: Billy Connelly was on a flight to Los Angeles with Emu Airlines, He said I was 5,000 feet up in the air before someone told me Emu's can't fly!

Reminds me of a flight I was on in the early 80s (hey day of disaster movies I think.) First of all the flight was delayed and we were sitting with some nuns, one strumming her guitar. I thought that's a disaster scene for sure. We get on the plane and a few minutes after take off there is a message asking for any doctor on the flight to go to the cockpit. Definitely a disaster scene for sure. I said to my husband, "If I see Charlton Heston hanging on a rope at that window I'm really going to start panicking. Charlton didn't put in an appearance so all was good. The connecting flight was even worse but it sounds so far fetched I won't go into it.

Yes, I was once on a flight sitting next to a couple who held hands and prayed out loud on take off. I found it a little disconcerting.
I wondered if they knew something I didn't.
