White eggs!

I opened the box of eggs DH bought from the farm shop this morning and was surprised to see they are all white.
Is this a new trend?

Yes I’ve noticed more white eggs on sale lately. I also remember a time when brown eggs were considered better for a while before that myth was busted.

I’ve noticed on some YouTube videos “foodie type” videos white eggs are featured frequently -perhaps for some aesthetic purpose.
