Or should that be, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation would like to remind everyone who they are??

Somewhere amongst the self congratulatory photos of themselves doing great works đŸ€” is a pic of their children taken from behind.

Pointless?

Please remind me- to have red haired children the parents use have red hair somewhere on BOTH sides of the family, yes?
How does that it in with Meghan's 43% Nigerian background?

Maybe something to do with the other 57%

Recessive genes from both sides of the family.

Brave words, WellsRose, but sadly - from my reading of many RF threads on GN over the years - you won’t find many prepared to agree with you. Deference and blind adoration are the order of the day.

Silly post 😂😂😂

Deference and blind adoration are the order of the day that's a good one LucyAnna tchgrin

Deference and blind adoration?

That’s a little dramatic don’t you think?

Why single out William ?
We are talking about the Royal family.

Yes, we are talking about the royal family and you

The royal family alone have private health care ? So not true.

Sorry I don't understand what you mean?

^Hope your rant makes you feel better.^

I was going to post something kind and supportive to WellsRose but I didn't think it would be appreciated.
Added to which, the lack of empathy for others who are ill with cancer was uncalled for.

I will just say that, whatever anyone's circumstances, rich or poor, cancer is a devastating and worrying diagnosis especially when it is a mother of young children.

I haven't asked for you sympathy or kindness especially from someone who doesnt mean it. I'm a strong person and I deal with it myself. I have a young child too. I am still being treated much worse in society than William.

I will be going to see Christmas lights later so I probably will forget this conversation. I say Merry Christmas but I don't care what others say.

Thankyou for working in the care industry WellsRose.. I can understand your annoyance when you get so little help or renumeration.. I hope your husband recovers..

merlotgran Sat 21-Dec-24 13:09:00

I’m doing chùz merlot’s version of the RF’s pre Christmas lunch tomorrow for DGCs and their OHs that I won’t see over Christmas.

So, having staggered in from the garden with armfuls of greenery to decorate the garden room and trying hard to escape the attentions of an excited Jack Russell, I can honestly say that right now I feel like a pheasant!

Anniebach Sat 21-Dec-24 12:35:22

Who is Marcus R, ?

Personally I find it rarely does, so in H&M’s inimitable prose -actually almost certainly Meghan’s, Harry knows it’s called Christmas. -

^Do I feel like a peasant? What is the what is the actual difference between a peasant and subject?^

I have no idea because I am neither.

I am a citizen of the United Kingdom.

So am I.

“They're not particularly intelligent, brave, witty, kind, attractive, loyal and haven't done anything amazing” WellsRose

Surely that applies to all of us? So who better to represent us than non-amazing people?

Especially so when you think of all who we thought amazing at the time for their talents etc and they were found to be rum ones for various reasons!

They are different to us because of their wealth and they are rum ones but we can't vote them out. Why not someone like Marcus Rashford who has know what life is like at the bottom of the pile.

So you do see yourself as a peasant,

Do I feel like a peasant? What is the what is theactual difference between a peasant and subject?

I've worked in the care industry for 8 years now. My husband got cancer and I was expected to keep working whereupon if the Royal family gets cancer, they go to the top of queue and William seems to do hardly any duties. We have to fight to get a pay rise but Charles has been given a whopping 46 million. The care staff are not getting their taxis paid for this Christmas but royalty will be swanning around in their grand cars.

As I've said Charles is out patron. If the unlikely event that he takes time to come and visit then do you know what will happen. We will be expected to make an extra effort, spend a fortune on getting the place spruced up, we would be expected to use his titles. What do you think would happen if I asked him why as a patron, he doesn't chip in his vast fortune to help out as he is our Patron? Probably get sacked.

What do you think that level of inequality make people feel? Our staff work bloody hard.

Who would society miss the most of they all disappear Care Staff or the Royal family?
