Or should that be, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation would like to remind everyone who they are??

Somewhere amongst the self congratulatory photos of themselves doing great works đŸ€” is a pic of their children taken from behind.

Pointless?

So sad that anyone sees themselves as peasants , such very low self esteem

WellsRose Sat 21-Dec-24 07:34:59

I'm diagnosed with ADHD and dyspraxia so my attention to detail is not great. The Cambridge children are already trained to wave to the peasants.

I don't think I'm a peasant. What do you honestly think the Royal Family think of us?

Anniebach Sat 21-Dec-24 07:39:26

Who are you speaking of when you say ‘peasants’ ?

WellsRose Sat 21-Dec-24 08:00:11

The Royal families view of the public.

Anniebach Sat 21-Dec-24 08:19:57

You claim to know what people feel and think

Smileless2012 Sat 21-Dec-24 09:31:24

I've never heard one of them refer to anyone who isn't Royal as a peasant WellsRose so how do you know that's their view of the public?

Usedtobeblonde Sat 21-Dec-24 09:41:42

I often wonder what the Royal family really think of people who willingly give up their own Christmas morning with family, opening presents and eating chocolate, to stand for hours to watch another family go to church.
It never fails to amaze me.
The children are certainly taught they are very special people.

Anniebach Sat 21-Dec-24 09:44:11

Taught by whom ?

FriedGreenTomatoes2 Sat 21-Dec-24 09:54:49

Seems someone’s itching for an argument this morning.

Usedtobeblonde Sat 21-Dec-24 10:00:29

There really is no answer to that comment Annie.

Allira Sat 21-Dec-24 10:10:57

Tyre already trained to save to the peasants.
confused makes no sense whatsoever.

I'm a citizen, not a peasant. Nor a subject, which term has been abolished except in a few cases. Perhaps you may qualify as a subject, WellsRose?

The Monarch knows that as I am sure each Monarch has more than a passing acquaintance with the law of the land.

WellsRose Sat 21-Dec-24 10:52:39

Yes there is an answer to it.

I remember being 8 years old and it being the Silver Jubilee and being totally brainwashed by Royal Propaganda. All I remember is positivity, we never heard anything bad about them. We were told that Mountbatten was a war hero, never told about the sexual abuse of young boys. We were giving day off to celebrate the wedding of Charles and Diana when it's pretty obvious to any amount of emotional intelligence that they were a total mismatch and she was a very vulnerable young woman. Charles was mates with some awful people and were not told about. Philip was a horrible racist. People were locked up for wanting to protest at the Coronation.
The king is not democratically elected but has access to our prime minister on a regular basis. They abuse their wealth and own far too much of country. Some of the jewellery is stolen from other countries. We are treated like peasants because were kept away from them. I remember that photo of Kate and William Jamaica with their 'subjects' behind bars. If we are subjects then we surely we deserve to be with respect. They pretend to care with all these 'project's they do but I work for a charity and Charles is our patron . There is no benefit to us at all and do you think he'll ever grace us with his presence? His mother didn't and she had been patron for many years.
There all the religious rubbish as well. The whole coronation was a blasphemy. He was chosen by god? Where is it written the bible that one family should rule over us? Jesus wasn't a fan of extreme wealth of false idols from Whitby remember.
Our National Anthem is all about saving him. Why? Other countries with monarchies song about the country not the monarch.
Were supposed to be a meritocracy. What merits do people these have? They're not particularly intelligent, brave, witty, kind, attractive, loyal and haven't done anything amazing We've got so many amazing people in this country and we've got some the worst representing us.

nanna8 Sat 21-Dec-24 10:56:33

What a happy thought. Made my day đŸ€Ș

Anniebach Sat 21-Dec-24 10:59:09

So you do see yourself as a peasant,

Usedtobeblonde Sat 21-Dec-24 11:00:36

Very true and to the point though.

RosiesMaw2 Sat 21-Dec-24 11:30:28

WellsRose

Allira I'm talking about the Cambridge children. George and Charlotte will understand how wealthy they are. Tyre already trained to save to the peasants.

I assume Tyre trained to save to the prasants was just a typo for they’re trained to wave etc - easily done but I’d save your breath to cool your porridge Wells Rose if you’re looking to start a royal family rammy.
Too many have been there, done that , bought the teatowel tcrgrin

Allira Sat 21-Dec-24 11:33:45

Oh, got it.

I expect sometimes William and Catherine wish they could escape too.

Pantglas2 Sat 21-Dec-24 12:00:24

“They're not particularly intelligent, brave, witty, kind, attractive, loyal and haven't done anything amazing” WellsRose

Surely that applies to all of us? So who better to represent us than non-amazing people?

Especially so when you think of all who we thought amazing at the time for their talents etc and they were found to be rum ones for various reasons!

WellsRose Sat 21-Dec-24 12:16:14

Anniebach

So you do see yourself as a peasant,

Do I feel like a peasant? What is the what is theactual difference between a peasant and subject?

I've worked in the care industry for 8 years now. My husband got cancer and I was expected to keep working whereupon if the Royal family gets cancer, they go to the top of queue and William seems to do hardly any duties. We have to fight to get a pay rise but Charles has been given a whopping 46 million. The care staff are not getting their taxis paid for this Christmas but royalty will be swanning around in their grand cars.

As I've said Charles is out patron. If the unlikely event that he takes time to come and visit then do you know what will happen. We will be expected to make an extra effort, spend a fortune on getting the place spruced up, we would be expected to use his titles. What do you think would happen if I asked him why as a patron, he doesn't chip in his vast fortune to help out as he is our Patron? Probably get sacked.

What do you think that level of inequality make people feel? Our staff work bloody hard.

Who would society miss the most of they all disappear Care Staff or the Royal family?

Allira Sat 21-Dec-24 12:18:41

Do I feel like a peasant? What is the what is the actual difference between a peasant and subject?

I have no idea because I am neither.

I am a citizen of the United Kingdom.

They are different to us because of their wealth and they are rum ones but we can't vote them out. Why not someone like Marcus Rashford who has know what life is like at the bottom of the pile.

Hope your rant makes you feel better.
Personally I find it rarely does, so in H&M’s inimitable prose -actually almost certainly Meghan’s, Harry knows it’s called Christmas. -
“Happy Holiday Season” tchsmiletchsmile

WellsRose Sat 21-Dec-24 12:25:15

I will be going to see Christmas lights later so I probably will forget this conversation. I say Merry Christmas but I don't care what others say.
