Or should that be, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation would like to remind everyone who they are??

Somewhere amongst the self congratulatory photos of themselves doing great works 🤔 is a pic of their children taken from behind.

Pointless?

Nice natural family photo..

BlueBelle Tue 17-Dec-24 15:28:01

How lovely to see two happy healthy children with their mum and dad
None of us know who is to blame or why the rift happened and neither is it our business
Some truly nasty comments if it was Willian and Kate you’d all be falling over each other saying how wonderful they all are

Anniebach Tue 17-Dec-24 15:18:01

I was referring to Harry’s book and tv interviews

Calendargirl Tue 17-Dec-24 15:17:57

H&M holding out their arms to hug the children.

Shades of that picture of Diana reaching out to greet her boys when they joined them back on the Royal Yacht when they returned from some trip or other.

She was wearing a lovely pink Chanel jacket, as I recall,

Sorry, would be better if I could show the picture.

If H&M paid to have that photo done, they were robbed!

I think a lot is said about H & M in the media, tend to ignore it if I can, and estrangement does cause a lot of anger and ill feeling, but deep down the love and the hurt doesn’t go away.

Anniebach Tue 17-Dec-24 15:10:17

Will William feel sad ? the attacks on Catherine by H & M have
been nasty

Babs03 Tue 17-Dec-24 15:07:16

Am not a royalist but I think it is so sad that Harry and Meghan are estranged from their respective families, as someone who has suffered estrangement I know how much it hurts, and doesn’t matter how famous or wealthy you are.
Am sure Charles and William will feel it this Xmas as will Harry and am sure Meghan and her family will feel it too.
Special occasions just bring it all to the surface 🥺

The dogs look more real than the people.

Nit if you look at its feet! It looks as though its got boots on! And the little girls feet are also weird, like she's wearing big platform shoes. Nice natural photo? 🤣

Calendargirl I've just checked their ages, and the Sussex children are 2 years apart. About the same as William and Harry. I'm sure in the early photos of W & H, there was quite a difference in height? You're right.

Calendargirl Tue 17-Dec-24 14:59:47

And it all looks rather ‘blurred’.

The dogs look more real than the people.

Grunty Tue 17-Dec-24 14:58:38

Very natural and lovely.

grin

Are Megan's arms really that long or is it AI/photoshopped?

escaped Tue 17-Dec-24 14:57:31

I think it's an AI image Cold.
Look at the little girl's weird feet and shoes.

Calendargirl Tue 17-Dec-24 14:57:04

Lilibet looks nearly as tall as Archie.

If you didn’t know, you might think they were twins.

It doesn’t look very Christmassy.

Cold Tue 17-Dec-24 14:51:44

Obviously part of their commitment to the environment as they've recycled their card from last year but pasted in new photos. wink

As an aside - how old is this photo as Harry seems to have no beard/moustache? Or is it a photoshop card?

eazybee Tue 17-Dec-24 11:50:22

One nice 'family snapshot' and five self-promotions of H &M.

Anniebach Tue 17-Dec-24 11:46:43

I care that Christmas Day is celebrated as is Good Friday and
Easter Monday,

MissInterpreted Tue 17-Dec-24 11:24:29

'Care' about H&M's xmas card? Really? There are many things in the world I care about - that is most definitely NOT one of them.

Anniebach Tue 17-Dec-24 11:05:33

I care

henetha Tue 17-Dec-24 11:04:19

Oh dear. A lot of us do care.

M0nica Tue 17-Dec-24 11:03:16

Who cares?

petal53 Tue 17-Dec-24 10:57:08

Sago

Holidays, why can’t we just say Christmas?
The Jews have Chanukah, Muslims Eid etc, they don’t refer to their religious festivals as a holiday.

The week of Hanukkah begins on Christmas Day evening this year.
I’m not sure when Eid is.

Lots of people who aren’t Christian say Happy Christmas.

We have our opinions and freedom to express them without being called nasty for Heaven’s sake.

I agree.
It’s Christmas for goodness sake, the season of goodwill to all mankind. And womankind of course.

Grannynannywanny Tue 17-Dec-24 10:47:32

Rosie51 I can see I referred to the Princess of Wales as Kate in my post. However, I don’t insist on calling her Kate. I rarely mention/type her name and I did it without thinking as that’s the name which is very commonly used. I’ll pay more attention in future.

Yes, in answer to your question , I do spell Meghan’s name with the h as most people know that’s how to spell her name. The only place I’ve seen it deliberately misspelled is on Gransnet anti H&M threads 🤷‍♀️

Anniebach Tue 17-Dec-24 10:29:22

Unusual to see a photograph of M not standing on a red carpet

TerriBull Tue 17-Dec-24 10:29:00

"I agree about the use of Happy Holidays It's Christmas season My Muslim friend gives me a Christmas card"

I don't begrudge any other faith denomination their celebrations and wish them well on their Hanukkah, Eid, Divali. The Chinese New Year of whatever, Say it out loud! don't put some nonsensical euphemism in place of your day/feast. In fact I've never heard a moan from members of other faiths about the use of the word "Christmas" in any case. Often the cards we get from relatives in Canada (not this year postal strike there) have the God awful Happy Holiday rubbish all over them.
